    I thought badminton is gaining some miles in the phillipines...

    we dont have dedicated badminton channel too.. sometimes there are no show too

    Actually, yes. Badminton is gradually becoming popular here. But still, there's no cable channel that provides live feeding of tournaments (or at least, none that I know of). Solar Sports (or maybe Studio 23) shows a badminton match on Saturdays. But that's all.

    But you still have (or used to ??) one of the strongest pair in Mixed Doubles...

    Well Pawar has lost but Sridhar is through to next round. Some good news for Indian fans :)

    Apologies for my lack of knowledge (revealed once again to the cruel world), but whatever happened to all the Chinese guys?? Have they given up badminton totally ?

    hey vpsingh...the china player is not give up hope on badminton arena...they have three month national camp in china so for this two ss,malaysia n korea super series,they will not participate...coz china squad want to develop the skills,tecniques,development and also focus on the new talent of young players...thats it...

    How smart of them. They are always trying to be one step ahead of everybody. No offence meant for their tactics, but how are they going to feel if all other countries start skipping Chinese Grand Prix for their own preparation.:rolleyes:
