We all hope so. I think Alvent is much more suited to pair up with AG...at least they can interact and communicate with each other better.

1 place is guaranteed in the QF for XD as Nova Widianto/Liliyana Natsir once again have to face off against Devin Lahardi/Lita Nurlita.

Meanwhile, Mohd Rijal/Vita Marissa have a tough task against the rising DEN pair of Joachim Fischer-Nielsen/Christinna Pedersen. A 50-50 match, but based on current form, the DEN pair has a slight edge.

In the WD, both Vita Marissa/Liliyana Natsir and Meiliana Jauhari/Shendy Puspa Irawati have winnable matches against MAS opponents. If they win tomorrow, a place in the SF is guaranteed in WD.

Not so fast....as Sakamoto/Ikeda (aka Stoke City) turn the table on KOR's no 2 pair Cho/Yoo to force a rubber-set.

In the MS, Sony Dwi Kuncoro and Simon Santoso also have tricky ties against Anup Sridhar and Mohd Hafiz Hashim respectively. Both are winnable ties.

In the WS, Pia Bernadet Zebadiah should benefit from Wong Mew Choo's withdrawal with another winnable tie against Zhang Beiwen. Meanwhile, Adriyanti Firdasari will have a tough task againt the fourth-seed Pi Hongyan.
