    Rest assured.
They're going to play against their compatriots.
Malaysia will win either way. ;)

Markis Kido/Hendra Setiawan eventually record their first victory of the year, after beating Hendri Kurniawan Saputra/Hendra Wijaya 16-21, 21-11, 21-15.

    Sigh...
Now I wonder if 'that person' sees this result, s/he'll say something like, "Now even SIN pair has nearly figured out MK/HS playing style. They need to improve their skill.":(

Basically even Polish and Danish pairs have beaten Kido/Hendra comfortably during the Copenhagen Masters. No surprises.

Hendri/Hendra have often caused problems for Kido/Hendra in 2006/2007. They have not met each other in 2008 because the SIN pair was split up. I am wondering why they are paired up again this year.

Meanwhile, AG/Alvent should take this match also.

just got back from the stadium... Wang Chen vs Aditi Mutatkar and Daren Liew vs BP matches are the best.. but when LCW entered the court i foucused on his match and probably missed more great actions from them...

Hendra A. Gunawan/Alvent Yulianto progress to R16 after a straight-set victory over Khoo Chung Chiat/Ong Jien Guo. The tricky Polish pair Michal Logosz/Robert Mateusiak awaits them tomorrow.

    Matchups in MD tomorrow:
Markis Kido/Hendra Setiawan [1] vs Hoon Thien How/Lim Khim Wah
Gan Teik Chai/Tan Bin Shen vs Luluk Hadiyanto/Candra Wijaya
Hendra A. Gunawan/Alvent Yulianto vs Michal Logosz/Robert Mateusiak
Cho Gun Woo/Yoo Yeon Seong or Shuichi Sakamoto/Shintaro Ikeda [6]vs Kenichi Hayakawa/Kenta Kazuno

It's possible that if Kido/Hendra manage to beat Hoon/Lim, they will need to beat their compatriots to be in the Final once again. Of course, that's provided Candra/Luluk win tomorrow, and AG/Alvent beat 2 strong pairs.
