I would have expected them to white-wash the Taiwanese junior pair.

In contrast, Meiliana Jauhari/Shendy Puspa Irawati recorded a good victory over Zhang Dan/Zhang Zhibo. Remember, Zhang/Zhang went into the Final of the China Masters SS last year.

As expected, Kido/Hendra have problems whenever they face Hendri/Hendra.

It could be a first-round exit as the World and Olympics Champions lost the first set 16-21, despite leading 12-3 after the interval

Kido/Hendra take the second set 21-11. Now, hopefully a better start in the decider.

Where are all the Malaysians? When I saw Daren Liews result I thought there must be pages of cheering for him^^
is it Daren Liew or Liew Daren? And how old is he? Must have been a good match against boonsak

wow... quite a few notable upsets. Well done to the winners. ;) I got a feeling that there is going to be another party for the Malaysian troops. A good CNY gift indeed. ;)

17-11 in the decider. That's much better.
    19-13. Finish it faster, please!
Phew, finally. 21-15. Not too convincing...

    Anyway, congrats!
