Kido/Setiawan managed to escape from losing to Ong/Hoon. Looking at the score and their recent achievement, are they on their way down?
But I'm happy with Rian Agung/Angga, it is time for them to grow. Same case to MAS MD youngster Mak/TWK, they also managed to defeat their senior.
I guess these both MD will develop long rivalry in the future

Chan Peng Soon/Lim Khim Wah is not a bad combination, I'm quite satisfied with the win, although quite disappointed that Mak/Tan almost lost. Although it seems and sounds really impossible, I'm gonna hope for them to upset KKK/TBH.

@eaglehelang - I was at mandarin tuition :p Was hoping for a win while on the way back. They have achieved their QF target, quite happy for them in this tourney.

i was chatting with kak eagle during this match
and i say looks like mak/tan let chan/lim to win 1st set,to waste their energy and win in rubber set(mak didnt play xd so fresher)
i not sure what i said is true because they nearly get the plan back fired as they nearly lost 2nd set

Just came back from the stadium. Kido wasn't very confident and lost a lot of points. On the other hand, Ong also sort of ran out of breath.

I actually think that Kido/Hendra prime time are pass already, and going down the hill now, esp playing vs younger opponents they always struggle, esp that now they also play XD.....

..yes, Andre has gotten more international playing hours..if they are the same age, which i feel they are, then it doesn't look good for CWF..
..i've heard the same, but only from a couple folks, not many..;)..From what i've seen him, live, during the WJC recently, i would say he has the potential but still need improvements..
    ..inconsistent..
..if referring to the INA pair of Candra W. & Luluk H., who beat CTF & LWW, they are not actually young...Candra is already mid 30s whilst Luluk is over 30 y.o...:p

I watched the match last night at the stadium. Kido was fooling around on court. Taufik was also watching this match from the sidelines at the Yonex stringing booth.

Both pairs have potential imho. It was a closely contested match and either pair could have won the match.

Quite surprised to see that The WJC Ow/Yew lost quite easily to KOo/tan though.

In the AJC, their defence had obvious holes, these two are not as impressive as other MD yet, so I'm not surprised.

    Well said.
CEH/WPT have been seeded no. 1 in a few tournaments this year(2010) and have lost in round 1 to unseeded or lowly-ranked opponents like the Indonesians and the Indians.
They have to buck up or bow out. :(:(:(

I think Pi Honyan is the most graceful and pretty player in the 2010 Yonex-Sunrise MOGPG tournament.
I root for her to win the WS title.

CTF/LWWW have not been playing well lately.
I am sure their sponsors want to see some positive results from them.

They are not going to the Asian Games. Wong Pei Tty is still injured, according to the today's Star.

I was there too and very near to the match between Kido/Hendrawan vs Ong/Hoon and saw Taufik with LCW having a laugh. Will you be coming again tonight?

They will retire very soon, most prob after WC in Aug

WPT is down with knee injury, they even skipped Spore & INA due to that. After Commonwealth Games, WPT will be going for surgery, looks like retirement coming soon.
