You are far too emotional, co-incidentally, ALL sector like WS, MD, WD, and XD failed to show result after a lot of tournament joined. MAS players have weak mental strength and you have to accept that. You are expecting them to beat all of Top 10 players easily?
As I expected, Lim Yin Fun has the ability to beat Busanan O. but couldn't beat her today because her mental strength is far too weak, making mistakes everytime.
Finally, Jun Hao beat Kunlavut again. I am hoping that he can improve his focus then and now, though. Here is some observation: 1. LZJ is a work-in-progress and still not consistent enough. He had shown a mature game before, so he need more training time to enhance shot efficiency. He is still young and will gain more experience in the next few tournaments. Easy shots mistakes is apparently dentrimental to his own game. 2. IZ and SJV have a great mental barrier and need luck to win, which is to say that their technique is really average to low, and safe to say that they have no edge in competition. I don't know if training will help them unless they develop some kind of advantage. 3. LJH is mostly complete package - good defense, working smash and good net-play. However, he tends to lose focus while leading and make enough errors to turn his win into lose. He needs more training time to mostly improve his skills.
Cheam June Wei win in straight game to reach final, most likely against K. Parupalli. Experience is a factor of lose for the 18-year old shuttler.
Oh boy, another weak mental strength from Cheam June Wei. Please hire better specialist BAM. I am sick of seeing those silver medal when they had the chance to win gold.
CJW reach final is already good, the opponent is very experienced player as he once played against LCW in Olympic 2012...
I don't see how experience play this time. Cheam June Wei at 20-18, proceed to make silly mistakes and lose 4 consecutive points. What a joke.
I think a similar thing happened last year in Malaysia IC. Cheam June Wei KO'd Lee Zii Jia but went on to lose tamely in the final. Malaysian players as a whole need a real mental strength beef up and different mindset towards their play. Stop thinking about how fans will judge them if they lose (Yeah, it's silly to say because we're judging them right here) and play arrogantly or just always have a nothing to lose attitude while believing in their own ability. Look at most Danish players, or even the English MD that won a bronze in 2016 Olympics. No matter how outclassed they are they always have the self-belief and confidence that they can pull off an upset. It definitely will not work all the time, but sometimes they can really go further than expected just because of that kind of mentality.
German Open 2018 status 7/3/2018: In: Goh Soon Huat/Shevon Lai Goh V Shem/Tan Wee Kiong Out: Tan Kian Meng/Lai Pei Jing (R32) Chan Peng Soon/Goh Liu Ying (R32) Soniia Cheah (R32) Goh Jin Wei (R32) Ong Yew Sin/Teo Ee Yi (R32)
German Open 2018 status 8/3/2018: In: Goh Soon Huat/Shevon Lai (they keep trending) Goh V Shem/Tan Wee Kiong (sweet revenge against Thai pair who previously beaten them at Thai Open 2018)
Indeed..... I advice they should wear high heels attached to their badminton shoes to even their heights against their taller opponent for better winning chances
Glad for Goh/Shevon to win German Open. Keep it going for AE. It's good to see MAS have a 3 strong MXD pairs at the moment. More worried about MS and MD department.
