Hi everyone I'm looking for a training partner to practice and an Intermediate group to play doubles with. Plastic shuttles are for LOSERS and they suck, i mainly play with feathered. Ideally as a partner you would like to do drills together, talk about technique, discuss strategy, share videos, not be a completely close minded etc. And as a doubles player, ideally you would: -Know doubles formation and strategy -Communicate with your partner and the group frequently -Be an extremely competitive player, but try not to be an ass about it -Please be nice, since i am nice - sometimes -Bring your enthusiasm, and energy and silliness. I've never done a proper coaching session so i do not know the best ways to do drills or play. My schedule is very flexible and i can arrange to meet you anytime of the day, any time of the week if i'm not already playing a match. I don't drive so i usually bus to wherever is closest. Yes shame on me that i don't drive The clubs I am closest to are: K.C Badminton Richmond Hill Lees Badminton Su Badminton C2 Badminton Everyday Badminton Farthest I will go is: E-badminton training Centre Markham Pan Am Centre I have a tub of used feathered birds. I'm guessing there are 150-200 birds in there and i can probably get way more if i asked around. I also like to hoard the tubes So you've already got a player willing to feed you shuttles. I do like your idea to learn and motivate to play as I am too but I live too far from you to even try.
If this were Asia i think people would be more available. Not many people in Canada could decide to one day train for 4 hours without interrupting their work life. Unless you're retired, I'd rather not play with those people.
If you're willing to come to Calgary, i'm willing to train 6 days a week with you. 5am-9am I need someone like you, because i need to start on my international badminton career. And move to asia once i'm good enough
