Hello, digging some old thread. I'm looking for a new pair of fixed clamp and found these https://www.tennisman.de/en/Other/Stringing-Machines/Spare-Parts/SUPERSTRINGER-Clamp.html They seem to be the same as the AEF. Are they any good? Mine do not come with any diamond coating.
What clamps are those on the pictures? They look a lot like the ones that come with the Stringmaster machines (https://www.tennisman.de/Weiteres/B...ezange-StringMaster-Pro-Badminton-1-Stck.html). If it's that one, then you have really high quality clamps and you don't need to worry about switch to the AEF/Superstringer ones. Diamond coating is not the one deciding factor when it comes to clamps.
I got these from a friend. Yes they are almost identical except for the colors. It's just that they squeeze the strings a little bit
Those are the StringMaster ones. Just make sure not to set them up too tightly. I just remembered that I tested those a while back when I got my StringMaster: They can hold huge tensions and are better than the AEF ones I've owned before.
