    Hello,
I am looking for a racket with the same balance/feeling as the astrox 99 but maybe less stiff? As bonus, if it could be less expensive .
    Any recommandation?

if he own 1st gen 99 then it wouldnt be similar as 1st gen 99 are very head heavy.
Then 2nd gen is what close to 88D but just full Namd vs shaft Namd only.

Tbh I don't think anything feels like AX99. It can be close, but the full namd makes it feels softer. I find the 88D to feel harder than 99, especially in the head. I would suggest AX99 4U if 3U is too heavy.

I have the 2nd gen of the 99 4U. I was just wondering if there were easier (stiffness) or cheaper options.
The 88D 4U felt noticeably head heavier and 88S felt too light. 99 fits right in between.

Have you tried 88S 3U? One other option is LDF. It's softer, still head heavy, but not as much. It's not similar to AX99 though in terms of the namd feeling as it's a traditional voltric.

No, I haven't get the chance to try the 88S 3U. I liked the 4U version but I couldn't get the power out of it. Maybe it's a good idea to try the 3U:eek:
    LDF is discontinued unfortunately :(
