Thanx eagle for the info! Looks like RTM oftens broadcast LIVE badminton tournaments and also become Olympic Channel. Different condition with Indonesia TV stations even they don't have high enthusiasm to air the prestigious OG.

RTM is OG channel cos it's government channel. Personally, would prefer the private stations like TV3, NTV7, TV8, TV9 to air it, more professional but the government give to RTM.
Cable tv like Astro even better, every tournament also they broadcast(Astro will show both Spore & Indonesia Open it seems), but to watch must pay monthly subscription

But am surprised Indonesia fans often complain dont have broadcast, Indonesia being big in badminton. Even Spore cable tv, I think Supersports, now catch up & show though they dont have Singaporeans in play. That's how our modious get to upload all those vids.

Ya lah, you all in JB fortunate for this Spore Open. What to do, after all these years RTM still backdated. He he I still have GD Sports to watch during the news segments.

Of course can enjoy it through live streaming but not TV antenna, how many internet users in Indonesia who subscribe high-speed internet? Broadband internet is still expensive stuff for most of Indonesian peoples. Without telecast via nationwide television many INA bdm fans can't watch international badminton matches unless the tournament is held in INA. Live streaming is the last option for me because it's so comfortable to watch sport program on widescreen TV compared than laptop screen.

Trans 7 is private television not cable TV. Astro Nusantara has different badminton program with Astro Malaysia as INA's Astro and other cable TV top priority is nothing but football.
