Sorry ppl, I really need to amuse myself. Kim/Ha are playing Sigit/Candra on Court 2 now. The score is currently 9-6, in Korea's favour. Damn, why are they meeting so early? Must be coz Kim/Ha's ranking have plummeted!

recently there were a group of people bragging how good the two pairs of indon. doubles are ..... no one in the world can touch them.....blah blah blah. Now they have to eat humble pie.
Ha/Kim just beat chandra/sigit. Very very good.

In a way, I feel quite happy for Kim DM. He had a tough time after the Olympics, I'm sure. There's still Tony/Halim left. Please go for it, guys...

Honestly, I prefer Tony/Candra to Sigit/Candra... you guys?

    Definitely.

Al, did you read the thread on Tony Gunawan being the best MD player in the world? After watching the replay of the S-Cup finals this afternoon, I have a suspicion that HE is the link to the Olympic winning combination. Candra/Sigit don't seem to play so well together from all the matches I have seen them in. There just seems to be something missing somewhere, whatever it is, I can't really tell.

Let me predict the 4 semifinalists (without staking any of my body parts):
    Tony/Halim (if nothing else happens)
Lee/Yoo (IF NOTHING ELSE HAPPENS... you can't tell with this pair)
    Zhang/Zhang
    Kim/Ha

    Yes, agreed.

Candra/Sigit was very impressive before they split (Sigit's doping). Sigit was very 'explosive' and the Indo media credited him for their win in WC. But heck, don't think he has got back his old form. Their latest outings proven this... I believe if they were fielded in Sudirman Cup, China could have won 3-0.

Tony has this x-factor can't say what but, he is good with any partner.

No more head on silver platter? :) Can't say about Lee/Yoo, agree on the rest...

(sorry for any typo error.... only 10% of my brain is working now)

Ehh... Lee/Yoo should meet Tony/Halim in quater, right?

Upper half, apart from Tony/Halim or Lee/Yoo, the other semifinalis should be Paaske/Lundgaard, Ma/Yau, Chiew/Chan or maybe the Thai pair? Sigh... what a draw...
