tai tzu ying is close enough to beat li xue rui in AE 2012 semi final
while every coach is seeking lxr weakness, lxr might just be another wang xin or koo/tan.

I trust LXR can do much better than that. 30 consecutive wins won't come out from nothing. She has proved that she can handle pressure and got the skills as well as mental power to handle a big game. She has enough rest prior to the Olympics. I think she is a medal contender, at least brown colour.

Li Xuerui is not a pushover. She is not the type of player who is eager to win but the kind who is extremely difficult to beat.

Taiphoon needs to do more in order to beat her.

She is not like WX/WYH. WX will definitely lose in the round 16 if her opponent is Taiphoon.

Anyway, on the other half, WX is going to lose anyway to Firdasari in round 16. Even if she managed to beat Firdasari, she will lose to Schenk.

I dont have faith in WX. She has been inconsistent and not delivering in recent tournaments and yet she got shortlisted as the sure players to go to the Olympics while Wang Shixian has to fight for the third spot with Li Xuerui.

WX loses this. That's the last we see her playing in major competition. Moving forward to focus more on the young ones.

I only place my hope on LXR and WYH.

WYH should do fine against BYJ and CSC on paper. After that she needs to be ready to face either Baun or Nehwal. That game is 50-50. Europeans will support Baun to the max.

Taiphoon did not impress at the recent Singapore Open, unfortunately.

I think Rat has a better chance to impress at LOG.

At first I thought LMAO = to Li Mao!

To win an Olympics medal takes 4 long years!
Therefore the punishment for you by moderators should not be a mere week.

WX is known to handle pressure in big games. I won't write her off just yet. I won't be surprised if she win a medal. She certainly has her chance for gold especially T B accidentally beat WYH in the other half and is waiting for her in the final.

She had appendicities and just recovered from it . After full recovery and with her tender age, she can be dangerous again.

Agree, Taiphoon maybe on fire once again, dont forget what she had did in AE 2012, the only non-china player to be in the semi-finalist ,despite she maybe lack of form at times.
But she have my support for this..
Another player to be look out maybe Wang Xin for me , she maybe inconsistent for the past few months, but she maybe on fire this time ...

Now that you mentioned it, I thought RB's writing looks rather familiar.

Oh so that's the main reason. Then she's forgiven and I hope she has fully recovered by now and put up a much improved showing at LOG. Indeed age is on her side and she can certainly compete at the next Olympics if she sets her sights on it.
