Liu Xiang, you'll be forever remembered as one of the greatest, if not the greatest, hurdlers in the history of the sport.
Tough luck for Liu Xiang - that's two Olympics in a row that he had to exit early .... In his heat, 2 others didn't manage to finish the race, I think one of them on Liu's right, was startled when Liu went down hard, he just stopped running.
one of the most anticipated athlete during 2008 and he suffer the injury. Chn crowd went into the stadium just to support him and end up crying due to sadness. this year, again due to injury. his supporters must have tough time now.
Both LCW and Liu Xiang suffered injury. Both couldn't win because of injury and huge pressure. LD is truly remarkable. Despite many years of pressure, he didn't suffer any major injury or strain. He is still able to produce the best results in all major events, ie, OLY, WC, AG and Thomas/Sudirman. He is simply the best Chinese athlete ever.
So unfortunate for Liu Xiang, failed in two OG, Beijing & London. Too bad we can't see his action once again...He's so phenomenal in Athens 2004.
