..according to BWF's H2H record, i don't see LD losing to PSH 2 times in a row..do you know from which tourneys did LD lose to PSH twice in a row?..

he lost because his talismanic sifu wasn't with him during his match with PSH. the thing was with ZN coaching WSX vs SN and WSX trashed SN so badly. guess without his sifu he lost focus.

Hehehe, I must say that LCW haters use the WR#1 for their convenience. When LCW loses, they go 'He is not the real no.1, he is a fake, he should go and retire'. When the REAL world no.1 loses, they go "At least LD is not the WR#1, so not a shame."

..maybe Chen Jin is the **real** MS WR#1??..after all, he beat Taufik, who upended the current WR #1 LCW and took out PSH who slayed the mighty Super Dan..hmmm..

So whoever beats the MS#1 is the real no.1? :p
    LCW starts off.
LD beats him in the TC and becomes no.1
PSH beats him and becomes no.1
TH beats PSH and becomes no.1
CJ beats TH and becomes the REAL no.1?

it's more simple: the one who wins the final match in WC is the World Champion! what is #1 worth? collected points in some lower ranked (and everything else than Olympic Games is low ranked! forget all the SS !) tournaments do not matter!
So Chen Jin is the world champion - there is nothing better available for the moment since OG was - in terms of badminton- long time ago! I would like to see Taufik on top - thats true, unfortunately he lost, but beeing number 2 is a good achievement. Anyway, here we discuss #1 - that's Chen Jin now until we get a new champion next year - that's it. A champion has to be on top than it matters, and this is WC (as long as there is no OG) - simple fact - hope there is nobody talking about sports on other trips! It is also a fact that a Champ needs to be ready for the highlights, that includes all the training preparation ... , since we do not talk about sports the injuries are caused by opponents (as it usually appears for soccer players) - somebody who gets injured when processing a smash, getting muscle problems while running up and down the court - can not become a champion - can never become a champ. so there are lotta pieces to put together - at the end the winner of final match is the Champ - we can call him also the #1.
Buddies - the number 1 is Chen Jin, whether we like it or not, he has proven to be best player at the moment, we have to accept that and give him the respect he diserves for performances he had shown last week.

Yes, Chen Jin came out on top. A no.1 is not someone who falls under pressure in big tournaments, or come off showing poor attitude and not wanting to win in the tournaments too. Chen Jin comes out on top!

Didn't LD win all the CBL matches? And someone said his CBL opponents are higher standard than SS opponents? So what would you call CBL if those series of matches are not tournaments? How come other CHN players come up on top and LD lost to an old foe? Did LD play without ANY coach to guide him during the match?

I wonder time by time again and again:confused: What is it all about the coach sitting at side line? You need a coach to preapare the players, but during a match any player should be able to read the game and to do whatever is needed:eek: And as far as I have seen, top players do so:cool: Folks, please take off the discussions about people sitting outside the court! They are just there, that's it.:D

we're not talking about seedings:eek: it's about Champs:rolleyes: so another year starts now LCW can become the number one:cool: for MAS it would be nice if he does, otherwise its up to the MD again to get a Malaysian champ:eek: For MS it might be too hard anyway since Taufik is still around and Hayom starts next:D
