Yo, since there is no major tournament, I think the biggest tournament for the year will be World Championship. I think equivalent to soccer World Cup. Winner will be the king of the badminton world. From Lin Dan furious form in Thomas Cup, I think he is the best bet for the men single title. I am a Malaysian but I am not looking down on others including our own LeeCW, but Lin Dan is just too good. Except some minor hiccups in All England and Swiss Open, Lin Dan is almost unbeatable when he is in top form. Admit it, when Lin Dan in top form, our LeeCW cannot get even total 20 points in 2 sets. Remember Olympic and Thomas Cup 2010? This shows how good is Lin Dan. So I think the World Champion is for Lin Dan to win. Please share....
almost and if in top form. this can apply to all players. if, LD loose, he can use this excuses. "i am just not in top form, that is why i am beaten" TH can win this coming WC2010 providing he is in top form.
I think his opinion is Lin Dan when in top form, not even some players top form can match Lin Dan top form.... example hafiz top form can only be 50 to 60% of Lin Dan???
btw, I hope this thread won't turn out to be war between Lin Dan fans with Mas fans or even Indonesia fans... mod do your work...
then this will be very very subjective. how gauge top form then? example; (since you mention Hafiz) Hafiz beat Lin Dan at semi final and loose to Lee Chong Wei at final. sf: Hafiz = 50%, Lin Dan = 10%? f: Hafiz = 90%, Lee Chong Wei = 20%? what work??
not sure about my english + math standard not even 20 mean 19 to 1 og 2008,12+8=20 2010 tc,17+8=25 forget to said i will paw against lin dan at certain round again as i am the one out of 2 who pick bao chun lai against lin dan in ae 2010
Its just LCW is just fixing matches.(Or under someones influence to do so) If you watch almost all of LCW's videos he has a lot of opportunities but he let it slip. If your from Malaysia your well aware that Malaysia is a poor country its natural for fixing matches like soccer if you watched Argentina VS Germany 0-4 losing in shame. Germany VS Spain is a match fix as well Germany lost ball possession over a few passes in the midfield.
Yo, sorry for confusing, to make is simple, lets say, Lin Dan is the hot favourite to defend his title.. Please share
Right, right, thanks for telling all of us! Most of us have been here for quite long but we still don't know that!
Are you sure you do not know?? Or you think what I said is wrong? I am open to share my view. Of coz you have your favourite, but for me, when I think of the most probably winner, it will be Lin Dan..
Hmmm, Looks like we have a new member here. Welcome, welcome. I can see that the legacy left by someone in this forum will be taken over by the new member. This time by a member from MAS(not Canada anymore, OHH!!), how cool is that! Let me applaud you for being able to find professional forum just right after you registered your account(not to mention the no of posts). Looks like you are very familiar with the forum layout around here. Anyway, enjoy visiting in the forum. @ MAS & INA & KOREAN FANS Worry not my friends, you guys will be lonely, no more. I am sure the new recruitment into the CHN's fans club will bring whole new of excitement into this forum. Enjoy.
Yo,I introduced myself in the introduction forum...and I already following badmintoncentral for quite some time...thanks for that... I like Lin Dan for his powerful play but I still support LeeCW and even went to Putra Stadium to support him during Thomas Cup, I still love Malaysia and support our players....so fans from Indonesia, Korea or Malaysia, please share your view. I like Taufik as well....but too bad he past his prime.
I'm joking, actually it means that all of us already know that, there's no need to create a thread just to tell that Lin Dan is the best bet for MS.
Yo,I know many Malaysia supporters might not like it... I can sense from the response...but I think Lin Dan will win it again... I hope LeeCW can win it this year...but time is running out for him.. His defeat in Thomas Cup shows that he is not ready to take on Lin Dan... I went to Putra Stadium thinking that LeeCW will beat Lin Dan, I even bet with my friend that LeeCW will win...but he lost tamely Next year will be another story to tell....
