Just found this latest gossips or rather juicy news out when browsing around the net.:p Not really sure what the report was all about but from some discussion from the net, i read that its about the team event final when lin dan was playing park. the shuttle was out but the line judge called in i think. Then after the match, during the press conference lin dan was not really angry but pointed out that the umpire is from Mas..;) I hope im right in the translation. Somebody willing to give it a try?:)

You are right on...Lin dan was not worried because the officials were from Malaysia. It is just an error according to him...actually he just about to start the service and then interrupted about the score.

Seen the facts fr tv replay: PSH's smash was out by a half feet, the linesman correctly called out, whilst no one protested to this obvious judgemt, to everyone's surprise, when LD ready to pick up the bird to serve, the umpire suddenly over-ruled and said the smash was in! Although the tv screen in the stadium replayed with a close-up showing the bird was obviously out, the umpire still holds the over-rule.
What an umpire! Cannot believe she's fr MAS...

It's okay? It was terribly wrong!

Lin Dan probably mentioned something about Malaysia is because he couldn't believe that Malaysia, a country who has a rich badminton history could produce an umpire as bad as that.`

Yea no Umpire from any country should do that unless it is a clear mistake, then it is just poor umpiring. But there are times when the umpire blatantly sides their home country..

On the other hand, it is not easy to be an umpire. sigh
