I was there watching German Open's final and the match was really funny. There was a moment when LD wanted to change the shuttle and the umpire refused. Then LD turned to CTC asking him to change the shuttle.CTC murmured to LD 'he (the umpire) said no" with the face like a frustrated little boy.

Ironman Bao predict LD will go to OLY final. I predicted a while back LD will win OLY gold regardless who he face, bet my dollar on that....LOL.
GO and now AE QF, we are seeing the real LD peaking for OLY...go watch it again and compared to those previous tournaments that he lost or not bothered. Notice that he hardly pant, the footwork, smash, while CTC sucking for gas and SS was out of gas. When OLY comes, it takes only 5 match to win gold, I said LD will pick up the pace. do enough to get to the next round and all out in SF and final, speed it up and close shop after that 3rd gold....count the $$$ cashing in from endorsements.
LCW will be there, the parity may close bit but I say LCW will go far.
Still, LD for that 3rd gold.

^ There's good reason why only LD has been the only player to be named the GOAT.

As for AE16, might as well give LD the 6 title or unofficial 7 title.

Guess he has to make sure he makes a safe #2 representative of China MS for Rio.

Or he noticed that now is his big chance to win All England for the 6th time? Since Axelsen went out before his match?

He gifted one AE final to Chen Jin. Go check that game out. It was widely posted in BC back then, way before you join BC

I don't know who will win the All England final tomorrow but yeah, LD has more gas and motivation in him than I thought!

I suspect his motivation was there since he made the trip to Rio to test the stadium conditions when he won the Brazil Open last year. But his fitness and form wasn't there last year.

With LD's performance in March, if LD can maintain his fitness and form, and stay free of injury, I think LD will enter Rio as a favorite, along with Chen Long and LCW, to win the gold.

Good for LD. He looked like a shadow of his former self last year and I wasn't even sure he deserved to represent China at the Olympics. But so far in March, he has proven he can play at the top level again. If LD can stay injury free and maintain his form and fitness, he will be favored as much as LCW and Chen Long at the Olympics.

Anybody know which racket Lin Dan played at Semi-final of 2016 All England? Dark blue or black looked like ZF-2, but I don't think he played backward to the first VT-ZF2 original played by LCW. Yonex develops new rackets for him?

This looks like regular ZF2 to me. The question is... why? Is there anything wrong with LD editions? Or maybe because he don't want to flash he's playin with Yonex?
