Hi Cyrcil : Thanks for sharing Lin dan shoe . Next Lin dan racket , will he be using new LD racket, zforce 2 or his former armotec 700 ? thanks
Do you ever read what you type? Why would they spent so much money on a player to have his use a racquet they don't sell anymore?I really hope you don't ever own your own business.
Sweet looking shoe, I will be buying new shoes soon, will await all the different colourways and will check them out during the All Englands in March. Kindest regards, -Ajay- Quote of the Day There is nothing permanent but change.
C'mon, don't be harsh on him, he's still a kid I bet. Haha. BTW, the yonex factory trip at Niigata by one of the members do remind me of something, the ZFLD probably?
On the subject of what equipment he will be using,Lin Dan at the press conference said laughingly,"for sure it's Lin Dan series, not using Lee CW's series". When the reporters repeatedly asked Lin Dan and the Yonex representative about the 10-year RMB 100mn 'huge contract', not only Lin Dan was evasive, even the Yonex overseas marketing chief,Hai Lao Yuan, answered he would never reveal the details of the contract. Lin Dan in response to the reporters further probing affirmed that the cooperation with Yonex will extend to the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and added in future he would be working with the other three 'Heavenly Kings', namely Lee Chong Wei, Taufik Hidayat and Peter Gade " to promote badminton into a mainstream sport all over the world". When asked what facilitated the cooperation with Yonex, Lin Dan replied:" I must express my gratitude to Mr Li Ning himself, am also grateful to Team China as well as the Head of Table Tennis cum Badminton Center. Because in itself this matter (special sponsorship agreement) involves a clash of interests, that we are able to reach such an agreement,it's really not easy at all. Not only between me and Yonex, but also the heads of various parties, including Mr Li Ning himself, each side was willing to make some concessions; therefore we hope to gain the understanding and support of fans and the media. Finally, the 31-year-old Lin Dan spoke candidly:" For a sportsman, to be able to come thus far, it's really not easy. In the words of many in the media, maybe Lin Dan is the first to do so. I think it's always very difficult to be the first one, so I hope to get everyone's understanding and support. After all, my main job is to perform on court, I will put in my best effort to do a good job in every competition and at training, this is the most important." In addition, he hoped through his own effort " to be able to cooperate well with Team China and,as far as possible, under such circumstances to achieve a win-win situation."
From this report http://sports.sina.com.cn/o/2015-01-07/21057473461.shtml, I learn that Lin Dan will consider taking part in the professional leagues of other countries.
That is a very good point! Yonex sponsored players are required to attend the Yonex sponsored tournaments. We should see more of LD in the future as a result.
But HE IS the great Lin Dan. I'm sure he can not show up and Yonex wouldn't get that mad. I think Yonex benefits more out of this deal than Lin Dan. He can win the Olympics with Yonex or Li Ning rackets.
I cannot wait, he has always been a favourite player of mine. I am working at the All Englands and will definitely get to see him up close... super excited this year. He can probably win with any other racket, the man is a genius. Kindest regards, -Ajay- Quote of the Day There is nothing permanent but change.
Maybe not too. Because in his press conference, he did mention that he'll stay with the CBA more rather than yonex side for the gratitude for CBA. So I'm wondering if LYB doesn't want him to participate in some events, quite sure that he won't be there too. Besides, he will probably show up with yonex equipment with no yonex logo!
Lin Dan's future is firmly in the hands of LCW, which is why the "cooperation" contract with Yonex is not yet finalised. LD-LCW rivalry is what draws crowds and media attention. Without LCW, LD won't get as much attention.
Yonex made a limited edition racket for Lee Chong Wei , will they made a similar limited edition racket for lin dan ?
