The Malaysian team have some really old players. BAM must be in a desperate condition. Even I look younger than some of those Malaysian team players. You can see them in the finals in the area for the team - front row.

I think it's over for him after losing to Lim Chi Wing in the national circuit in straight games.

He's already a goner since the Thomas Cup. Might as well just concentrate on the Purple League....

I say Daren should quit BAM and join Sports Affair (where Hoon Thien How/Lim Khim Wah & Arif at) as independent player...

they should both join Sports Affairs and team up for doubles ;) with the little life left in their badminton carriers, they could learn to experiment.

since Tan Kian Meng, once playing men single, able to get transfer to play men double or mixed double, why Liew Daren no go transfer to play men double or mixed double since he play men single so not promising, especially his smashes always land outside the line (double line)...

To play MD you need hard thundering smash. Liem Swi King, the legend, is the perfect example of successful player transitioning to MD upon reaching older age.

Yes it does. He’s done exceptionally well in this tourney. Have not seen this level of play in a long while. Not since his last Super series win. The only m’siaN player to medal here? At least a bronze is guaranteed anyway

Yeah he did well, that's as far as lcw would've gotten in the same draw anyway. Too bad he had to play with an injury.

I think he would have beaten Momota if he was fully fit.
