And pardon me to say this: your so-called humble opinion heavily implies that other countries winning titles is not due to their hard work, improvement, and stellar performance, but rather credited to the CBA "letting go" those titles, i.e. being generous.

I sincerely hope that's not what you mean. Because if it is, I consider it insult & arrogance at its worst.

Yeaayyyy....INA have 6 matches in SF tomorrow, and secure 1 spot final in XD. Without ZN/ZYL in the final, I hope AT/LN will get the SSS's title...

Excellent reply.... Just let them to dream like that..:D Badminton is a wonderful sport.. If Li Yongbo considers that deliberate losing of their home players and making all other country players winning them, then he is the real loser here..:D. Every country is trying hard to win their opponent whoever they may be.. If they say something like that, then this proves what a respect they are giving to the opponents who are trying their best to win a match against champions.. Lol..

I think that the other countries are working harder than ever and should be given full credit for that. They've earned their titles fair and square.

But I also do think that China is starting to focus on winning only the big titles and are okay with letting the others go more contentedly. Even they have to realize that China (or any other country) winning every single thing is just not good for the sport. They have to know that the wealth has to be spread if they want this sport to survive.

If this complete Chinese domination continues, I wouldn't be surprised if badminton is removed from the Olympic roster altogether. Now, nobody would want that, so it can only be good if China continues to lose more often.

In case of MJ/TJH lost, I didnt think they were deliberately losing, if they want to lose to Pia/Rizky why not just lost 2 easy set, so in here Pia/Rizky and MJ/TJH were battle their ass off to win that match

I didnt think that has anything to do with LYB instruction or whatever about spread more win to others

Badminton is going to stay at OLYMPICS...we just move from group D to C...LYB does not need to lose...even Chinese juniors did not win any title much in last 2 years..CBA had admitted that it is getting tough to get talents in Badminton as so many competitions of the sports itself

You may expect these kind of replies whenever their champions tend to lose to unfancied opponents.. ;). Truly speaking, you will expect even more funny excuses for their losses.. :D

Agree, I do not think that Chinese players let other players win the matches over them. If it is, better they do not compete and just participate to the tournament that they think 'big'.

that was indeed arrogance and insulting -.-

how about all WD China SF in INA.. didn't they been generous and letting it gone to the host??

I guess @Justin L will say that Ma/Tang was being generous to Pia/Rizki this time

so CBA and LYB should be generous to Linda and letting her beat 2 China WS and be the champion LOL :p :p

China has been a juggernaut in table tennis for a long time.
Do you see the CTTA "letting go" of the titles? And do you see any chance of table tennis being removed from the Olympics in near future?

LYB never said about spreading more wins to others. But LYB did said he won't set any targets for IND PSS and Singapore Open. He also said it would be boring and a little bit tired for CHN badminton team and chinese fans if CHN could sweep off all titles in every times, especially in big events. LYB also said that It would be pretty fine if CHN team could win 3 titles in this year WC.
