Think he is a junior Denmark player i knew i had seen him somewhere before then remembered where (Making his parents proud) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hk9sQjpYCqU&feature=related @ 14:42
I swear if Schenk isn't baddy player, she'll do good in judo, karate, taekwondo or any other martial arts sport...
Tago was a big disappointment. How could he lose to WZM (who was struggling against INA qualifier yesterday) except he s now part of the CHN MS syllabus like LCW. By G3, WZM was returning all his smashes and smashing big and Tago was clueless. But we have good news. Eriko is through to QF! The match between HTH/TWK and MK/HS was intriguing. Not the usual MD fast and furious stuff. If MK/HS were in OG12, we may not have a new MD champion. In the MS, would the youngsters upstage the veterans? Hard to tell.
So far i think the attendance and ambience is less compared to last year. But its prelim, wait and see till sunday.Angga played so badly yest until the coach talked to him personally without ryan after the match for quite long. I didnt see where ryan was. And the coach is not herry ip, i dunno who he is.
I'll post day 2 and 3. I have nothing today. I'm not shooting today onwards because I just wana focus on the game. I think Loh is shooting some. I saw him earlier
It's now 9.40 pm but the matches are all over except one - the MS between MAS Chong Wei F and CHN's Wang ZM. I've been here since 3.15 pm and have still not taken my dinner. Sad that Yao & Sari did not make it to the SF just by a whisker and I think Sari played well while Yao made some bad mistakes. But we still have a representative in the WS when our Aiying beat "Twiggy" Yip of HKG. I'm afraid Twiggy has put on a bit of weight to concede in straight games. But Aiying was superb and put up an unexpected display to keep the Singapore flag flying. I saw a different Aiying who is more agile and never gave up trying. Well done Aiying!
Like I had previously stated, spotting eyebrows isn't a fetish. Now you have a clear basis for comparison .
Serious OT (sorry) Phil, phil, phil... BTW where is Ayane these days? I get to see Nozomi at the Canadian Open again
Ha ha, got you. Knew you had to ask that question. I'm guessing that she is back into the jar for the moment. I believe they base their selections on the yearly national tournament and some special ones, and Ayane probably didn't do so well last year. Hope she'll be back next year, simply for her showing of no lack of enthusiasm and the height advantage. The serial smiler? She'll be smiling even more if she manages to bag the title this year . Just noticed that the sister of Sayaka is also making the trip down with her sister for the very first time. I love your beautiful city!
Will do. One day. When my wildcat ends up as a gusher, lol. Need to hedge against those high fuel taxes. Can't resist those Swiss looking mountains and the metropolitan Tokyo buildings. Are the players still staying in Richmond again? Does anyone even get to see the lovely downtown streets? Cobalt? Was at the stadium just now, not last week.
