Hmmm so I ordered some shuttles..

Got a shock... G800.. What is this?

So shop owner told me... Li-Ning had some repackaging

    So A600 = G900
    A300 = G800[IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

Hopefully they changed only the names of the shuttles and didn't cut down in quality...

Would be great to hear your thoughts on the shuttles' performance once your order arrives

I think new package wont make them better! They are over priced.. Quality in our big club order in last two shipments in EU wasnt great. They were ok but not worth of 23-25 €. Im talking about super 1000 model. We bought other brand at 21.90 € and it was more durable. We are trying to find good shuttles and good distributer, but still looking.

If I can suggest to you, try brand called Okalin and the model is AC50. This is good shuttlecock in my opinion.

Pretty decent shuttle for the price. I found they flew well but were quite light compared to other brands. Also their corks isnt the greatest.

So I ordered another dozen of g800 earlier and almost finishing them soon. So will be ordering new ones. The prices went up a little so I am thinking whether to try out Victor master 1. Anyone got experience?
I tried master 2 once and that was a long time ago .

The G800 were better in flight than the old package. The feathers ruffled up easier which irritated me quite a bit. I am a bit of a OCD freak.

And I don't get them at 23-25eur. Old packaging was 17 eur. New g800 initial batch was going 18 eur. Now hitting 19.

Haa if we could do 25 eur, we will be using G900 which is a600+ (used in BWF Li-ning sponsored games)

Anyone know the difference between G500 and A+90? Both seem to be goose feather, are they different grade goose feather? I know the cork is different, G500 is natural cork and A+90 is synthetic cork.

A+90 is now G600 (white background image)

    A9 is G500

What about the quality? Do you know which one is more durable?

What other brand did you try?
The Super 1000 cost 19.5 Euro when you order 50 dozens from Li-ning now. Not sure if it's worth the price. I used to use Yonex Aerosensa 30 before for approx 24 Euro per dozen, but have now switched to Super 1000 and think that the durability is lower than the Aerosensa 30, but is the Aerosensa 30 worth 4,5 Euros more per Dozen? I'm not sure.

Has anybody noticed a substantial difference in durability? Our play group played with A300s before the pandemic, and the G800s (the listed equivalent) have been inconsistent and fragile for us.

Thats unfortunate to hear. I was thinking of getting the A300+ (G800) after my stockpile is done.

Played some G600 and A90+, but the new G series was not better than the old A series. The new feathers were much easier to snap and the flight was very inconsistent.

Li-Ning.dk are currently only selling the "Super 1000, 750 and 500" shuttlecock range. Where do these sit in the history of Li-Ning shuttlecock models/ranges? I'm aware of the "A" range before the current updated "G" or "D" range/naming convention.
I have asked whether they will stock the newest range of shuttlecocks but they told me that they will only continue to stock the "Super" line-up of shuttlecocks.

I have struggled to find any reviews of the Super 1000 shuttlecock online so if anybody has any experience with them then I'd be grateful if you shared it with me!

i had a tube of 1000's recently. they have a mixed cork (cork+synthetic) but flew well overall and were decently durable. didnt last as long as AS30's but comparable to RSL classic (which are quite durable usually except for their mediocre cork). there were a few (1-3 of the whole tube) that broke a feather super early(think first 3 hits of the rally). i didnt steam them either, might have reduced the breakage. if they had a full cork head i would probably buy them more often
