I think they will play to entertain. Logically the winner will probably be the one who dares to risk injury at the expense of his future career.

well the German audience probably got their money's worth. CJ probably did nothing and just followed LD

so LD used the occasion to showcase his shot making and also his mistakes.

Hope this is not CJ at his best, if he could only pick up half of LD's deceptive strokes and subtle placings, he would be well

    on his way!

Great occasion this German Open, polite, appreciative spectators encouraging players to play good badminton.

Also a brass band to blow the trumpet everytime a player tries to waste time.

Can LD win back to back? AE?

    .
:confused::confused: Lin Dan to win AE back to back?

It was Lee Chong Wei who won the AE title last year (2010).

What danielwong meant was winning the GO and then follow up with the AE(back to back titles). everyone remembered LCW won the 100th edition of the AE last year.

2011 All England MS Final: Hope to get the LCW-vs-LD match at the Finals

    .
OK, this matter is now understood. :):):)

To me, LCW and LD are the best 2 Mens Singles players currently (one level above all other players).

Hope to get the LCW-vs-LD match at 2011 AE Finals.

CHN team won't be at Swiss Open. They will be back at CBL, along with LCW.

Just off topic a bit, if LCW can get to the final this AE it will be already quite a feat,

considering all the deadly opponents he has to face in the early rounds like SS and KT, he would likely be a spent force after a few days.

Anyway back to LD before our BC RELA members sound out.

LD is still the favourite to win the MS title at the 2011 AE

    .
IMHO, LD is still the favourite to win MS title at the 2011 AE. But I shall support LCW. Why? Because LCW is the hardest working player in most SS tournaments.

Even if TH not out, no chance against LD.

    .
What a shocking result for Taufik Hidayat at the 2011 All England SSP: TH knocked out in the first round.:eek::eek:

TH's win or loss has no impact to LD. Since LD will beat TH for sure.
