When it comes to winning or losing a match, I am sure LD would try his hardest to win

    .
When it comes to points scored in a game, I am sure LD would be generous.

Similarly, LD could be generous to give ONE game away in a (best of 3) match.

But when it comes to winning or losing a match, I am sure LD would try his hardest to win (provided that his opponent is not one of his teammates). ;););)

    Yes, agree.

LD won 1st round 21-17, 21-17. Maybe he's really being generous when it comes to point scored in a game.

LD bt BP 21-11, 21-11 in sf. His final opponent is his teammate, CJ. Will he try his hardest to win the final?

Absolutely not. Why would he, given that AE is around the corner? Not even the ironman LCW would put in 100% in this situation.

On the other hand, CJ may want to grap a win from LD whenever, however.

CJ: "Sure thing bro but Worlds is mine again right? Then you can do 2012 ... although by 2016 I'll be ... Errm, let's just keep it to GO and AE ;)"

Lin Dan appears to have worked on his shortcomings and appears in even better form than in Korea. He seems to have added some variations to his strokes or perhaps he looks good only because he had time to play his shots.
Chen Jin definitely has improved and his accuracy is uncanny but still lacks deception and subtleness.

I think it would be criminal if they dont give the best performance of their lives at least in 1 set for the German public

who are so mature and appreciative and of course have deep pockets.
