    Match over.

    Game 1
    LCW-CL 21-17 (23rd minute)

    Game 2
    LCW-CL 21-13 (46th minute)

    Let's look at some statistics;

    Game 1
    Smash Winners...LCW-CL 10-6
    Net Winners.......LCW-CL 5-6
    Clear Winners.....LCW-CL 1-5
    Others...............LCW-CL 5-Nil

    Game 2
    Smash Winners...LCW-CL 3-2
    Net Winners.......LCW-CL 2-4
    Clear Winners.....LCW-CL 12-5
    Others...............LCW-CL 3-2

We can see that LCW was very aggressive with Smashes in Game 1. Although in Game 2, he changed his tactics to Clears, CL couldn't use them to win the rallies with his Smashes.

Tomorrow, at the Finals, it would be different. The great Smashes from Lin Dan could cause LCW trouble.

by the way, the fact that LD lost the second game could be alarming, right ?

    No way. :):):)

Lin Dan can relax in ONE of his games (be it the first or the second). But when it is the FINAL or DECIDING game, he would shift up a gear.

    Congratulations

First congratulations to LCW. He is slowly but surely catching up with LD. However, he must not stop as I believe LD will train even harder for the World Championships in London. LCW has to train even harder and try to improve from today's match. As for London Olympics next year,he has to make sure he limits his participation in tournaments as injury is the only barrier that will prevent him from performing well at the Olympics. The distance with LD is very close but for me personally LCW needs to train even harder until he can comprehensively beat LD.If he can improve by another 50% from today's match,a first World Championships should be no problem for him.

    Congrats to DLCW!!!

Although I miss the first half of the 1st game, I'm glad God woke me up in time to watch the rest of the exciting match.;) The rallies are damn good. How LCW managed to retrieve LD's killer shots is beyond me and I'm thoroughly entertained and satisfied. Next will be Sudirman Cup... LD will be looking forward for a revenge and hope LCW will come up with more variety in his deceptions cos surely now LD will study this match very closely.

Again, congratulations LCW for enjoying the game (it really shows), keeping your mental intact throughout the match, maintain your coolness which is sooo amazing to see, and hope this year you'll grab as many biggie as you can. I'll be all behind you no matter what the outcome may be. Best of luck!;):D

    I am happy for LCW.

He should be really proud of this and become more confident in beating anyone.
