What kind of magic is this. It is only sweat absorbent and anti bacterial on one hand??? Which hand? On the other hand, a different idiom should be used when talking about grips.
Oh I didn't care about that. It was the claim that 402DX was lighter than a single over grip covering the same area. Sent from my SM-G975F using Tapatalk
No no. The earth is flat and gravity is secretly just a mystical force. Sent from my SM-G975F using Tapatalk
I worried everything I know to be true was really a lie. My pet unicorn will be relieved. In other news. Victor are to stop making their current ranges of rackets and only release rackets linked to upcoming movie releases. The first will be based on the upcoming James Cameron Avatar movies. Called the Pandora Special Edition, the racket will be made from 100% unobtanium. Additionally it will be 80% bigger than average and entirely blue with a tail.
To make the fun even bigger, matching the name, Victor will have no quality control whatsoever for the Pandora rackets. Spoiler: Victor Fanboy? So nothing changed, but the name.
For 2022 Victor announced to make a 25th anniversary racket for the movie "Titanic". Each racket will have 25 holes which will sink during stringing. This will loosen some off-center string segments so you will never miss the sweet spot.

Thanks for quoting me! So glad that my post made you rofl. Just don't roll too far until you can't find your way back, kays?
Oh dear, I didn't know there was so much fuss I created over some towel grip. Haha. Tell you what, go get an electronic weighing scale (I'm sure you can afford one, right?), measure the weight of the 2 grips and you'll have your answer. If I'm wrong, please tell me. I stand corrected!
Oh buddy you're so on. I have both 402DX and AC102EX in my drawer. Are we measuring actual length after gripping or the full grip itself. This point must be clear. Because if you're going to say the actual length after gripping then your logic in itself will be flawed simply because both grips are of different dimensions and do not cover the same area. 402DX is 30mm thick and 102Ex is only 25mm thick. Plus what style of gripping are we going to be talking about? How much overlap in that case? Or do I cut the amount of length necessary to make up the same area of coverage with no overlap. I'll gladly waste a grip on this. Sent from my SM-G975F using Tapatalk
Sure! This should be a fun investigation. Since you have both at your disposal, you could measure both full grips (if they aren't of the same length, then do the necessary adjustments). Take pictures, post them up here, and hopefully the issue will be solved! You know, I am really really surprised that people actually have so much of free time for this sort of comparative analysis. But what the heck right, since we've come this far. hehehehe
Alright. So I'm doing this test right now. So in the interest of trying to make this redneck science as impartial as possible. I will be doing 3 measurements. A. 1 402DX straight from the pack. Dimensions are 740mm x 30mm = 22,200mm² B.1 102EX cut to the same length of 740mm (well as close as I can get without a cutting mat) with the plastic layer peeled off. Dimensions are 740mm x 25mm = 18,500mm² C. 1 102EX cut to cover the exact same area as a full pack of 402DX. Dimensions are 888mm x 25mm = 22,200mm² To keep it as fair as possible I will cut off the tapered side of the 102EX to create squared ends just like the 402DX. Also all plastic adhesive backing on the 402DX will be removed just to simulate a real grip on a racket. Also the plastic protective film layer on the 102EX will be removed as well to do the same. Results are in the pictures. Wtf am I doing. I just wasted 10 bucks to prove a point I knew already.. Sent from my SM-G975F using Tapatalk
Wow. This really does deserve a medal. Or something to that effect. I sincerely applaud your effort and determination in doing this. No, I really do. I stand corrected, then. It appears from your investigation the weight isn’t even equivalent let alone the DX being lighter. Racquet weight watchers, please take note of this post! But honestly, I would’ve just used the grip on my racquet (in fact I don’t even have enough supply of it to “waste” and I just ordered some online today because I ran out of it sigh) but I guess if proving a point is more important, then yeah. #priorities
I wanted to but too short for me. I use the full 1200mm of 102EX. And the 402DX had to be rolled up to go on the weight scale so it became useless on the adhesive end. Sent from my SM-G975F using Tapatalk
