There's a difference here.Badminton and squasy are different for malaysians.
badminton is the soul for our nation.malaysia grew up with badminton.since we are belongs to british.
we are hoping on badminton more than squasy.we are happy with nicol.and we are really proud of her.But can u tell me why we dont go to watch her play?why?
i give u a situation. thomas cup tournament and squasy world championship will be held at the same time.If u are given an oppurtunity to choose, who u really want to win?Nicol or LCW ?and u can only choose one.
thats the pressure that LCW have to face.dont blame him.Nicol can play in calm situation. When she lose,we will not blame her as much we do for our shutllers.
England now face hard time in their soccer team.Their defeat by Germany last week in their prestigue stadium prove it.and their performance in world cup too.why this is happening?they are facing the same pressure.soccer is england.and their people knew it.when they lose ,it is such a great failure to them.
let time passes on and let our players do the best in future.dont compare them with other athlets.because they are not same.

England just lost to Germany in a friendly, you should see the pressure the fans are putting on the team and Mclaren.

Care to explain why Zhao JianHua for the MS coach and your Tan Kim Her sharing duties as co-doubles coach with Rexy? Wont having too many cooks will leave your soup tasteless in the end?

MAS MS players seems plays better with the guidance of coach frm China.. HanJian/YangYang/Fan KaiXiang all bring glory for MAS in TC.. Js my thought of having them along will helps to improve the players..
MAS oso have too many talented MD pairs.. It would be great if someone who have the similar capabilities as Rexy to guide 1/2 of them in proper excel..
Its 2 coach for different sets of MD player... I don't fink it will make the soup tasteless anyway.

If my memory serves me correctly, some of those coaches were not long retired as active players before coaching Malaysia. Han Jian had retired around 1987 and Yang Yang only 1991/1992. They had not time to establish themselves as 'brilliant' coaches. Furthermore, TC 92 was only one team victory, none of the Malaysian players from that time won the World Champs. It's difficult to extrapolate that situation to the present situation here.

Maybe they were talking about Fang Kaixiang... He was 51 or 52 years old when he helped MAS win the Thomas Cup...

    Their names are H A N J I A N / Y A N G Y A N G / C H E N G Z H A N G J I H (??? should be correct in pronunciation???) all from China. After that achievement Han Jian got the permanent residency of MAS as a reward....

We had Li Mao, what happened with the results under him?
Dude, after the TC 92', our shuttlers became millionaires overnight, they bought big bikes etc, and our results were poor after that TC 92. And some of the shuttlers from that TC 92 winning team even went bankrupt a few years later.
