I really think it's going to be 50-50 match. Look at how difficult he was at dealing with Sun Feixiang, who did not play for a long time. LZJ also hates playing a 'cool' player like Kunlavut Vitidsarn.

too soon to say he was a new Lin Dan.

I'm not here to troll. I believe Lee Zii Jia will win today.

He is in a good form, no doubt. He will need to put focus especially at the start of the match. I think he has a great chance of winning tomorrow.

I love how he’s found a very simple formula to win matches right now: use your superior net play and play soft shots over and over until the opponent is forced to lift, then smack it straight down. If they start moving forward to challenge the net, hit fast flat shots towards the back line to catch them out of position. Rinse and repeat.

He’s stuck to this gameplan pretty much the entire tournament and no one’s got an answer to it yet, it’ll be interesting to see what Christie does to try to counter LZJ.

LCW at 24 was nowhere as marketable as Lee Zii Jia. He has his own sponsors, not to mention his Instagram and Twitter popularity. Set for life already.

T’was a different time. LZJ’s off the court marketability is unlike anything we’ve ever seen in Malaysian badminton.

If the match go to three games, LZJ wins. LZJ will have advantage in physical fitness.

There are shots that VA can get away with other players but not as effective against superior LZJ's defence and reach.

LZJ might has a chance after all. If only he could reduce the numbers of 'out' shots that would be great.

Yep, the number of out shuttle defeats Lee Zii Jia again. Malaysia Open next.

I think he was injured in the second game today. If second game was more grueling, perhaps the third match, the fitness would have brought LZJ through. He should take a break.

axelson is still mentally stronger than zii jia. i think thats the winning edge he has over LZJ. Solve that problem, LZJ will be a monster (more so than what he is now)
but then remember, VA had to go through the exact same phase before he is what he is today,
