He just won against Anders Antonsen who is almost half his age... 37 vs 20years old. Watching him play against youngsters is like watching a coach giving his student a lesson
Yeah, always something to watch. I'm lucky to have watched him live before (dismantling Korean and Malaysian young players).
After 5 years of looking I finally found where to watch the match from London Olympics where Lee Hyun Il defeats Jorgensen.
So... ✔Viktor Axelsen ✔Jan O Jorgensen ✔Chen Long ✔Ng Ka Long ✔Tian Houwei ✔Chou Tien Chen ✔Wang Tzu Wei ✔Tommy Sugiarto My word, is he playing better than ever since his comeback or what?
Am eagerly waiting for this big matchup as well. I was really upset when it didn't happen in Australia earlier this year. Oh, and the LCW one too.
Nah, Lin Dan is a step too far. He really plays with a blank mind neither investing himself in defense or attack. At the same time will probe Lee Hyun to the limit just like Lee does to his opponent. Anyways, we will continue to appreciate him.
But got to say Lee Hyun IL is the G.O.A.T. of 36+ badminton. Unreal movement and motivation. Fearless and Fortitude.

oh my god.. the old geezer has beat the olympic champion. didnt expect this at all - moreover in 2 straight games
Well CL was certainly not in his best form and couple that with LHI playing well, that's always a possible outcome. Though LHI did use some good strategies that worked wonders.
