Just a question. Does Kwun have a cloning machine? Seems he's able to pop in&out of everywhere, not to mention the thousands of posts...
Where's kwun??.. ...sorry to ask but hmm, has anyone noticed him??...i noticed he hasn't posted here since Oct. 17th...is he out of town/country...or just simply super-duper busy....
Yeah, I thought it was odd, too. WHERE ARE YOU? [silence] Well, when he's hungry for badminton, he'll come back to us
Hmm, i'm quite sure he'll be super uber busy anyways.. ...whenever he comes back in here again, esp. if he has to go thru/read/catch up, who knows how many hundreds or thousands of posts he's missed...hehe
make article about a history of BC kwun, i'm interesting in BC history, can u make article about it, like why it's being developed, who are the people joint for the first time, etc,etc i think a lot of people want to know too
When you think about it, BC is sorta like a giant Wiki or open source project-- you search for "documentation" about anything badminton related and you'll see the topic as it's developed right here. You can entitle the article "The Book of Kwun" or the "BC Bible".
agree! it is also the WWF (World Wide Family ) I like the idea of the 'BC Bible' or how did the WWF develope? lol
How about making that a locked thread where only Admins and mods can post, but the rest of us view it?
hehe. thanks for noticing my absense. i have been around but so busy with work and other commitments i have had time to moderate but hardly any to post. but thanks to the other 3 mods BC who also did an excellent job. as for me, just busy with work and deadlines and just simply behind. also got other commitments that has taken up quite a bit of time. hopefully it will start easing in the next couple of weeks and thank goodness the holiday season is coming up and i should have more breathing time.
That's tough, man. Only three mods for this entire forum? There are thousands of threads to post, thousands of members to watch. That must be grueling work.
Siempre fe man, I haven't played for a lot longer than that ... Man I haven't even posted since September last either.
Ah, you're back!..deep sigh of relief... ..sigh, phew, i thought for a moment there you would forget all of us.. .It's OK, as long as you're back and can give us a heads up... Yah, i know, i understand, esp. with your family as priority also...If one's too busy, really, whatever one's doing will basically "eat up" all one's other tasks??(as i was, this past week or so)..
Hi there, and Thanks kwun! I never thought I would post in the Newbie section (although I am totally newbie) but after I stumbled upon kwun's intro, I feel obliged. I have also played badminton on and off since my childhood, and I have been more active (or proactive) in recent years since I moved to SoCal. I pretty much started a group who'd meet every weekend to play, some of them were real beginners at first and have since improved their skill. Before and during the process I have found several useful Badminton websites, and this is definitely one of them. There are many websites (official ones too, mind you) that simply are not updated... Anyway, I joined tonight because I happened to have found some info here that I've always wanted to know. I also want to applaud your effort in founding these websites, I am sure many have benefited greatly from them. If I find some new info related to badminton or find a place to play that needs some promotion or some info corrected, what is the best way to get the word out? It's easy for messages to be buried in forums especially active ones like this.
Hmm.. ..maybe most of us, if not the majority, of the current BC members weren't around at that time??..Imagine, 2 yrs after kwun made his intro. thread, within a few days, the posts had multiplied unlike before..
