    Predictions involving INA players:

    MS R32
    Taufik Hidayat
[3] vs Ivan Sozonov - every match becomes a tricky one for Taufik nowadays. But with Tago now eliminated, he's the highest seed left in the tourney! Can he win the tourney?

Andre Kurniawan Tedjono [14] vs Tanongsak Saensomboonsuk - Andre won the previous encounter last week. Can he repeat the result to fulfill his seeding? I hope so.

Riyanto Subagja vs Vladimir Ivanov [11] - it will be a great result if Riyanto can reach R16.

Wisnu Yuli Prasetyo vs Dionysious Hayom Rumbaka [7] - an unlucky draw for Wisnu. Hayom should progress.

    WS R32
    Tai Tzu Ying
[1] vs Maria Febe Kusumastuti - Febe has a slight chance if Tai is exhausted by her participation in non-stop tourneys in the past few weeks.

Adrianti Firdasari [8] vs Arundhati Pantawane - Firda to progress.

Cheng Ya Chi vs Maziyyah Nadhir - ditto for Maziyyah.

Tee Jing Yi vs Bellaetrix Manuputty - ditto for Bella.

Lindaweni Fanetri vs Lin Ying Chun - I am still hoping for Linda to shine. She still has chance.

    MD R32
Chen Hung Ling/Lu Chia Bin vs Berry Angriawan/Yohanes Rendy Sugiarto - not sure how this will turn out. I hope Berry/Rendy can justify why they should be retained in Pelatnas for next year.

Markus Fernaldi Gideon/Agripinna Prima Rahmanto Putra [8] vs Pranaav Jerry Chopra/Akhsay Dewalkar - the IND pair nearly beat Fu/Cai tomorrow. So, this will be a tricky one for Markus/Agri.

Hendra A. Gunawan/Yonathan Suryatama Dasuki [3] vs Chan Peng Soon/Lim Khim Wah - I hope AG/Yoke can win this one.
Markis Kido/Alvent Yulianto Chandra [5] vs Chan Yun Lung/Wong Wai Hong - Kido/Alvent should take this one.

Lee Chun Hei/Leung Chun Yiu vs Hafiz Faisal/Putra Eka Rhoma - I am not sure if Hafiz/Putra can win this match.

Chooi Kah Ming/Ow Yao Han vs Andrei Adistia/Christopher Rusdianto [6] - I don't think Andrei/Christopher can fulfill their seeding.

Goh V. Shem/Ong Jian Guo vs Mohd Ulinnuha/Ricky Karanda Suwardi [2] - I hope Ulin/Ricky can win this but I also don't think they can reach the Final.

    WD R32
    Pia Zebadiah Bernadeth/Rizki Amelia Pradipta
[4] vs Hung Shih Han/Lin Ying Chun - technically speaking, Pia/Rizki are expected to fulfill their seeding. But I am not sure about Pia's condition.

Chow Mei Kuan/Lee Meng Yean vs Nitya Krishinda Maheswari/Anneke Feinya Agustine [5] - I am not sure also how's Nitya condition now. So, this will be a tricky tie.

Wang Rong/Zhang Zhibo vs Meiliana Jauhari/Greysia Polii [3] - also a tricky tie for Mel/Grace, who's still rusty after 3 months of absence. I hope they can fulfill their seeding.

Ayumi Tasaki/Seiko Yamada vs Komala Dewi/Jenna Gozali - time's up for Komaa/Jenna. This will probably be one of their last tourneys as a Pelatnas pair.

    XD R32
    Tontowi Ahmad/Liliyana Natsir
[1] vs Vitalij Durkin/Nina Vislova - as a top-seed and 2nd ranked pair in the World, nothing less than a title will be enough this week.

Markis Kido/Pia Zebadiah Bernadeth [8] vs Wang Chi Lin/Pai Hsiao Ma - Kido/Pia are expected to test Towi/Butet yet again in the QF.

Danny Bawa Chrisnanta/Vanessa Neo Yu Yan [4] vs Alfian Eko Prasetya/Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja - the SIN pair is still more experienced than Alfian/Gloria.

Chen Hung Ling/Wu Ti Jung vs Mohd Rijal/Debby Susanto [3] - Rijal/Debby are expected to fulfill their seeding.

Chan Yun Lung/Tse Ying Suet vs Riky Widianto/Richi Puspita Dili [6] - ditto for Riky/Richi in their 3rd consecutive tourneys.

Bellaetrix books R/16 spot, def. Tee Jing Yi, 21-14 / 21-13. Next, she will challenge most likely Thai promising star Busanan Ongbumrungpan.

Chen Yuekun overcoming Hu Yun is a good result.

Sun Yu's demolition job of Lydia is unexpected but a sign that she wants to redeem herself after the WJC loss to Nozomi whom she beat earlier in the team event.

For WS, in the lower half, I think Lindaweni, Busanan, Yip Pui Yin, Pai Hsiao Ma,and Belaetrix are the likely semi-finalist candidates. But I think the favourites to win the title seem to be in the top half, such as Tai TY and Han Li.
