And Kento went down in straight sets. 21-11 21-15. Must be nice to have the first win another young and upcoming player when you yourself are one. Huan Gao and Kento Momota will probably face each other more times.

Gao Huan and Qiao Bin did well to beat their respective reasonably good opponents. Unfortunately, they will have to play each other tomorrow.

Yunus' loss a bit unexpected and Tommy's defeat is an upset of sorts.

With Lee CW's withdrawal, the field is thrown open for a number of players to win the title, such as Taufik , K Tago, Hu Yun, P Kashyap, and, perhaps, Tanongsak, Rumbaka, Gurusaidutt, Chen Yuekun, Suppanyu, Tedjono,Zulkifli, Gao Huan.

    P. Kashypa has retired! He had to retire earlier at the Hong Kong Open also. Maybe shouldn't have played this tournament and let his body rest...

I was shock to know ZZ actually stole 1 game from Hu Yun. Hopefully, he can win the match to prove that his status as World Junior Champion is not a fluke.

If you ask me, i ll say he is not doing well. The opponent is very very below his ranking. If he is struggling to beat this player.. how come he will do with others.. I am worried.. :(

RMV has bouts of brilliance earlier this year... but his game has taken a slump since. Would be nice to see him make a come back. I'm sure he learnt a lot playing Chen Long a few months back.

Meanwhile, Kenichi Tago is somewhat struggling... he's back to his old form... the one where he didn't perform too well.
