I will make some bold predictions (some not so bold).

The men's singles final will be all-Malaysian.
The men's doubles final will be all-Indonesian.
The ladies' doubles final will be all-Chinese.
The mixed doubles final will all-Korean.
The ladies' singles final (which has been all-Chinese for a long time) will be Chinese-Dutch.

I could very well fall flat today (especially with my first two predictions).

I think you will definitely be spot on on prediction #3.
    #4 and #5 very likely.
Will be great to see #1 and #2 coming out right.

Can't help thinking you must be a Malaysian. Of course you know that there are two more hurdles to clear before the Finals.

    That's why it's a "bold" prediction.

    It's obvious I'm Malaysian, isn't it?

results seem to be slow in coming in. Only two results so far, Park and Kim/Ra winning, and it's been ages since then.

    Another Korean shock!

Jun Jae-Youn defeated Mia after losing the first set. The bottom halves of both the men's and women's singles draws are favourites' graveyards. The favourite to enter the final from the bottom half is now Pi Hongyan, but I wouldn't bet my life on it.

Chen Qiqiu/Zhao Tingting defeated Taiwanese pair in 3 sets. Sudket/Saralee? (Tha) also defeated Robertson/Emms in 3 sets.

Kim/Lee takes the last semi-final spot. Of all my "bold" predictions, only my doubles predictions are alive.

The results may be slow coming in because some of these matches were very long. 4 of the 6 matches so far stretches to about an hour. Maybe they are using only 2 courts.

If he enters the final, then I'd say he has finally come back. So far, his path has not been overly difficult.

still waiting for the result of Gade vs. Wong as well as Xia vs. Joppien.

oh Xia's score is out, Xia beat Joppien quite convincingly 15:1 / 15:12

maybe Xia is back too. but then also the case that Xia got a pretty good draw.

he will be playing local boy Park in the semi.

Jun spent 70mins in court against Mia.

i am more surprise Mia managed to last that long! Jun will be tired playing semi-final though.

and look, only 3 Chinese out of 8 spots!
