INA players are always capable of leading and then suddenly lost the lead in a spectacular way. Focus....focus....focus......
The INA pair lost the first set 18-21, despite leading 8-5 at one time before the spectacular collapse (as always) that let the CHN pair wins 7 pts in a row to make it 12-8! From then on, it's always a 2-4 pts game.
wow...the linesman is showing his professional skill in the Den vs KOR match the bird is obviously in...
The INA players really need to improve their concentration and focus during each game. Towi/Butet were also leading 7-4 at the third-set of the same match against Zhang/Zhao at the HKG SS; before losing 5 pts in a row to 7-9; led again at 15-13 but then lost yet another 4 pts in a row to 15-17. Sigh....
This applies to ALL INA pairs. Not only Towi/Butet. Vita/Nadya's collapse yesterday was even more spectacular! From leading 10-4 comfortably, then 17-15; only to lose the second set 17-21 and the rubber-set easily.
Now...from 5-2 to 5-7....same old story as in the first-set lost 5 pts in a row. They just can't maintain the lead!
Towi/Butet trail 9-11 at the interval. The INA coaches really need to improve their players' focus and concentration in the game! The examples have been too many to quote recently (including Fran/Pia's spectacular collapse to He/Ma, despite leading very comfortably at rubber-set of the Asian Games match also). I am really gutted!
Once you have a 2-3 pts lead...its okay if the opponent catch up to within 1...but don't let them win 4-5 pts in a row. That will simply give the game away!
