    Matches involving Team INA:

09:40 Flandy Limpele/Vita Marissa vs Fang Chieh-Min/Cheng Wen-Hsing -- a tricky match for Flandy/Vita, given that the Chinese-Taipei pair already troubled Nova/Butet last week.

09:40 Devin Lahardi/Lita Nurlita vs Robert Mateusiak/Nadiezda Kostiuczyk -- the Polish pair should win this one and another early exit for Devin/Lita.

09:40 Mohd Rijal/Greysia Polii vs Keita Masuda/Miyuki Maeda -- Rijal/Greysia can win this one...and I hope they win at least a match.

11:00 Nova Widianto/Lilyana Natsir vs Lee Yong Dae/Lee Hyo Jung -- an unlucky draw for Nova/Butet and it looks like they might lose again.

12:20 Sony Dwi Kuncoro vs Yeoh Kay Bin -- Sony to take this one

02:20 Adriyanti Firdasari vs Hirayama Yu -- sorry Firda, but, u are going home.

03:40 Simon Santoso vs Mohd Hafiz Hashim -- a 50-50 match for both players and I am leaning towards Simon.

05:00 Markis Kido/Hendra Setiawan vs Robert Adcock/Robin Middleton -- same draw as last week, so, Kido/Hendra to win this.

05:40 Vita Marissa/Lilyana Natsir vs Jiang Yanmei/Li Yujia -- a tough opener for Vita/Butet and I hope they shake off last week's indifferent form.

05:40 Hendra A. Gunawan/Joko Riyadi vs Guo Zhendong/Xie Zhongbo -- a familiar foe for AG/Joko and unless they can show some improvement, they will end up losing yet again.

07:00 Luluk Hadiyanto/Alvent Yulianto vs Sudket Prapakamol/Phattapol Ngensrisuk -- a tricky opener for Luluk/Alvent, but, they should take this one down.

08:20 Lita Nurlita/Nitya Khrisinda vs Lee Kyung Won/Lee Hyo Jung -- no chance for Lita/Nitya.

09:00 Jo Novita/Greysia Polii vs Rani Mundiasti/Endang Nursugianti -- only 1 will progress and it will be Jo/Greysia.

KO 2008: Interesting match to watch would be Lin Dan vs Boonsak

    .
I think the interesting match to watch would be Lin Dan vs Boonsak. :):):)

Having rested (from the Malaysia Open 2008), would they be much fresher than all the other players.???:confused::confused:

    wow badmania, that's pretty pessimistic.

i agree nova/butet are unlucky to meet the koreans again, and they haven't been performing too well late, and the koreans are playing in front of their home crowd ..... yup, you're right, they're going out in the first round!

    :)

Hey Dreamzz, home crowd support in the KO is barely an advantage. Attendance is generally sparse... but I expect a host of no-name Koreans to step up and create upsets

And the tournament proper has begun. Expect Lee Hyun Jin to give Wang Chen a run for her money although my money in on WC. WC 7-8 LHJ

Another withdrawal - The England team - Gail Emms, Nathan Roberston, Donna Kellog. Msia WD WPT/CEH get to advane to rd because of that. Hmmmm injured or preparing for Thomas/Uber Cup qualifiers?

Actually not the ENG team, only matches involving Gail Emms. Possibly injured. Of higher suspicion is Ling GAO/Tingting ZHAO gaining a walkover on #2 seeds Wei YANG/Jiewen ZHANG :cool::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Thanks for the correction, havent look thru the whole schedule.
The China walkover, yes, smells suspicious too, they won MO title last week, this week, rest?

Meanwhile Sairol Ayob already lost to CHan Yan Kit in straight sets.

I think it will be a straight 2-0 win for LD. Haven't seen BP winning anything lately, not even passing QF in many tournaments.

Maybe you're afraid of LD meeting LCW in KO 08 MSF :D

Go Super Dan, all the way to the final for another showdown with LCW :p

Yawn....looks like Yang Wei/Zhang Jiewen have already gone home after winning the title back in KL. Gao Ling/Zhao Tingting are given a free ticket to R16.
