Ths is probably korea worst performance taking only 1 title in the XD, still they managed to take 26% of the total prize money... as usual, china topped the chart with 37%.. only china and korea won $$ in all disciplines...

Chinese used to skip korea open in the past, that's the reason korean's dominance in the past. Even this time, China's top guns Lin Dan, Zhang Jun, Wei Yili, Wang Wei ..., still skipped korea open, their theory is that they just want to collect Olympic points for the players who want so desperately at Korea open. Now it shows that Korea open or playing at Korea is not that nightmare. I hope China team will send all the players in the future.

One thing I like about this Korea Open Finals is that it is not dominated by China's players for once. Only the Men's singles was an all-China affair and it turned out to be disappointing when Xia had such an easy second game to win the match over Chen. Of course, the all-Korean Mixed Doubles Final also did not live up to expectations.

Only the Men's Doubles between Indonesia and China provided the most excitement and you can really see that no quarters are given in that match and each player did his best.
