    Predictions involving INA players:
    MS R16
    Iskandar Zulkarnain Zainuddin
[8] vs Riyanto Subagja - Riyanto is at least quite consistent in the past 2 GPG tourneys, reaching R16. It will be major result if he can upset Iskandar.

Wisnu Yuli Prasetyo vs Niluka Karunaratne [2] - I am hoping Wisnu can upset the second-seed and progress to QF. He should finish the year in the top 70.

    WS R16
    Chen Jiayuan
[7] vs Yeni Asmarani - although Yeni shows better performance lately, the seeded Singaporean player has the edge.

Kim Ye Ji vs Maziyyah Nadhir - ditto for this match. The KOR player has the home advantage.

Yang Li Lian vs Aprilia Yuswandari [2] - April has a good draw and I hope she can progress to the Final.

    MD R16
Lin Yen Jui/Lu Chia Bin vs Berry Angriawan/Yohanes Rendy Sugiarto - I think Berry/Rendy can progress to QF.

    WD R16
    Shella Devi Aulia/Anggia Shitta Awanda
vs Joycelyn Ko/Christin Tsai - Shella/Anggi should progress and challenge the top-seed in the QF.

Deariska Putri Medita/Khaeriah Rosmini vs Lee Nu Ri/Yang Soo Yeon - not sure about this. Maybe the KOR pair to win this.

    XD R16
    Alfian Eko Prasetya/Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja
[4] vs Liao Kuan Hao/Chien Yu Chin - a tricky match for young Alfian/Gloria and I hope they can fulfill their seeding.

Jang Seung Hoon/Ko Hyun Jung vs Irfan Fadhilah/Weni Anggraini [2] - Irfan/Weni are seeded 2nd, they better reach QF.

I think Yeni Asmarani is a better prospect than Chen Jiayuan whose best performance so far as I can remember is in beating Tine Baun in the US Open last year, IIRC.

The WS final is likely to be contested between Sung JH and Aprilla.

Meanwhile, Riyanto Subagja triumphed over Iskandar Zulkarnain Zainuddin [6] in straight-sets: 21-18, 21-14. He faces Lee Dong Kuen for a place in the last 4. That is a winnable match!

Riyanto will be close to the top 100 by end of next week!

As expected, Chen Jiayuan beat Yeni Asmarani easily.

meanwhile, quite surprise to see iskandar lost to riyanto.
hmm... i think iskandar is declining a bit. lost to wisnu in Mas IC and riyanto this time

QF tickets for Riyanto, Aprilia, Irfan/Weni. Also two WD pairs Deariska/Khaeriah, Shella/Anggia who will meet Wang R/Zhang ZB and Eom HW/Jang YN tomorrow.

Only 5 INA representatives left in the QF. Most will probably be eliminated by tomorrow evening.

    MS QF
Lee Dong Keun vs Riyanto Subagja - the first major QF for young Riyanto. I hope he can beat Lee.

    WS QF
Cheng Chi Ya vs Aprilia Yuswandari [2] - April is probably the only one who has a good chance of reaching the Final.

    WD QF
Eom Hye Won/Jang Ye Na [1]
vs Shella Devi Aulia/Anggia Shitta Awanda - I will be very surprised if the junior INA pair can stretch the KOR pair to 3-sets.

Deariska Putri Medita/Khaeriah Rosmini vs Wang Rong/Zhang Zhibo - the MAC pair to win.

    XD QF
    Kang Ji Wook/Choi Hye In
vs Irfan Fadhilah/Weni Anggraini [2] - not sure about this. Even though Irfan/Weni are seeded 2nd, the KOR pair is a promising pair and has the home support.

Indeed, it's surprising to see Irfan Fadhilah/Weni Anggraini progressing to the SF after a hard-fought victory over Kang/Choi.

An even tougher assignment awaits in the SF in the form of another home pair Shin Baek Cheol/Eom Hye Won.

An upset, Derek Wong stopped Niluka's advance, one of my faves to win the title.

The MS finalists are likely to be Latif and Tanonsak. Lee Dong Kuen might surprise Latif though.
