Not cocky. If he did it every time, it meant he was struggling so he had to reassure himself to keep going.

i know koo style of playing is too fancy. But it's kind of entertaining. But in sf against lyd/jjs, i think he made too many mistakes. I think he should make less mistake but he can keep that 'too fancy' style, i think.

    He is not cocky.

    He is over-confidence.

He is a good player. Only cant produce results.

They are talented pair. They had perform the best. Only that JJJ/LYD is perform outstanding.

Wait next tourney. They will bounce back. Give them time to prove themselve.

the problem with mas md players imo is, this mas pair likes to let their opponent to smash and they keep defend and defend and defend..
but when they got chance to smash, their smash is not that hard.:( i mean not consistent too;)

daniel, WD tactic is quite different than MD.
Defense is much more important than offense in WD. How many WD using AT900P/700? ie.not many. u and i know WD rallies are long, u'll be pooped if ur only good in smashing.

i found CEH has good stroke and decent power.
WPT i find her smash a bit weaker compare to her opponents.

but if play with China DJ/YY
    or Korean LHY/LKJ
    only defence will not help..
    sorry off-topic

IMHO, one of the MAS's problems is that they tend to lose concentration especially in the finishing stage. From the mid to finishing points, their moves tend to get slower or stand still. That makes them keep in defensive mode. Sometimes, I see KKK's brilliant moves approaching to the net. I'd like to see more rotational moves from both of them, especially later stage of the game.
    :)

I just realised that Koo/Tan have overtaken Fu/Cai and guaranteed their place in Super Series Finale once they reached QF in Hong Kong Open. Reaching SF by beating Markis/Hendra is a bonus to them.
