To bring this little side story to a cute ending - 50 cm, 3,040 g, quite head heavy and super flexible. Makes pretty strange and loud noises for various unknown reasons though. Meet little Frida:

When my wife was pregnant we used to do some simple workouts with badminton exercise for her. Her doula North York told us as it was on early pregnancy stage. It is a good way to keep the body in shape while being pregnant.

Not sure if this has been stated but there are side effects to taking Astaxanthin:

    1. A good reddit post about the effects on Testosterone
    2. Heard some testimonies from male users experiencing gynecomastia (alongside purported benefits with vision)
Not bashing OP, I might take this for the benefits itself (experiencing some tennis elbow myself I think from poor technique lol). But things to watch out for.

Along with those injuries, do you also have meniscus tear?
I have a horizontal medial meniscus tear. Do you think Astaxanthin will help heal meniscus? My Doctor said meniscus can't heal because there is no blood running to meniscus. Only small portion on the edge of meniscus that have it.

Did you try this and see any improvement with your meniscus tear?

@OP - Thanks for starting this thread. I'll give this a go as well.

Yes I tried this. I dont think it help my meniscus, but it seems make me healthier :)
I finally decided to operate my knee last may. Still in process of recovering. Hopefully in Nov I can play badminton 100% fit.
Until now I still consume Asthaxantin along with protein.
Do you have meniscus tear also?

Thanks for replying. Yes I seem to have a minor meniscus tear too based on the MRI done at the start of this year and was told to do physio instead but that didn't seem to help me long term as the pain keeps coming back. I also seem to be lacking overall strength in my legs compared to before.

What type of tear? Horizontal, vertical, complex?
Physio didn't help if the meniscus still in tear because the pain will keep coming if you do squat or knee bending exercise. Even it can make the tear worse. The only leg strengthening exercise that safe is straight leg execise, using rubber band to make it more effect to the muscle.
Are you still doing sport with this torn meniscus?
