But seriously the game of Kidambi is even more frustrating than Momota's. He is no where near than what he used to be.

    KS scored another point, 6.
Prediction is out but was very close.
KM must have read my posts but missed out on the scores.

A 416kph smash from Momo though. Is he getting back some power? Been a while since he did one of those

Very close and Momota just unleashed a 416kph smash. Maybe the racket will break at 20-7

He lost confidence after losing from 20-17, he was impatient then, uninspired now.
    21-7 it is.

    See above post #663.
KM read my post and brought extra racquets, just in case.

He forgot to bring them but used a less powerful smash.

On a more serious note, this match has provided no information at all on Momota's level. Srikanth is in such a bad state.

    Hey ya, don't mention it!

Or else he will bring how he beat Lin Dan in 2014 November and throw a sissy fit as to how unmotivated he is these days to win points let alone set or match.

This Chokemon is another level of Chokemaster compared to side-mentioned names.

I thought that Momota played extremely well today!!! The early games were needed to get used to the racket ;)) A few more games and Momota will be there again!!!

Indeed, Momota displayed some good badminton with variety today in second game. Haven't seen him performing net kills or smashes like today since 2019. He even hit smash winner 416 kph  Maybe his game is gaming back gradually. What is still missing is the turbo mode where is he increases the tempo significantly and the end of game when it gets tight. Maybe we see that tomorrow. winner5.jpg

I hope we see that today! More importantly he was pretty quick on his feet going to that smash. Only caveat is that it wasn't fully to the back of the court. But still it is something.
