I just saw Tago yesterday walking around MidValley Megamall in KL yesterday with a friend so he is still here.
He's been there since mid May this year and has been playing with the locals. Pics of him and local shuttlers are circulating on Twitter and FB. Some of my friends also saw him in person hanging out with Malaysian .
Hopefully we see him playing in some of the local tournaments and the Purple League, the badminton world needs this talent back
Taken from Cryocord's Pinterest : "First time live in front of my eyes! #DLCW and Datin teamed up to go against Kenichi Tago and #cryocord's CEO James. Too imba!"
Good guy LCW, seemed he's been looking after Tago since he's been in Malaysia. Even got him a corporate stint. Nice!
with the rates of japan producing top women singles & doubles players, i think in very short time Japan will have few world class men single players very soon
Anyone knows where he regularly plays at?. Big fan of his love how he plays the net and his smashes are really lovely to watch . Would love to see him play even if his just playing for fun
Considering how much he has brought Japan badminton forward, Japan would be remiss to allow him to leave.
It's also be crazy to leave just when the fruits of his labour are about to ripen. The only thing missing is men.
Good News this Came out awhile back in the Malaysian papers, tago will be participating in the Malaysian Purple League . Anyone knows what Tago wraps around his thumb?. Is it Surgical Tape?.

Rumor dating back from May 2016 proven right about Tago, his come back is in Malaysian Purple League with Petaling BC!
Tago technique and skill is superb, he just needs the fitness level to be high enough and free from injury. I hope he and Momota can make JPN take back Thomas cup from Axelsen and Jorgy in 2018, JPN are stupid if they dont let Tago make comeback.
