Whoo, I've never seen Kim Dong Moon be so outspoken.

Looks like he thinks he'll kick arse. What do you guys think? Maybe this should have been in the World Champs forum but no one seems to read that forum ;P

“We will have no problems winning the doubles title and if there is anyone who could give us some resistance, it is going to be Candra and Sigit," Kim told the New Straits Times, adding “and I am confident of adding the mixed doubles title to my collection as well.”

    Confident

I read it as KDM is full of confident and why not? I agreed with his accessment, only Sigit/Wijaya pose threat to Kim/Ha, hard to imagine other pairs like Eriksen/Lungaard, Promote/Palsona, Chew/Chan, Lee/Choong can really match the power of the Korean pair. Even facing Wijaya/Sigit, the Koreans still have upper hands unless Sigit goes all power instead of those error-prone-fancy-moves. The only reason I can think of Kim/Ha not winning the WC is Ha is re-injured(touch wood)
    Agree?

But anything can happen. Remember the 2000 Sydney Olympics. Kim/Ha and Kim/Ra were unbeatable before going to Sydney, and Kim went back home only with a bronze.

also remember Kim/Ha entered the 2001 WC as favorites, but only to lose 15-0 on the first game of the final.

in the world of professional badminton, anything can happen... :)

Just watched the friendly between msia and Korea.

Kim Dong Moon is in great form, I think he is re-defining badminton.

Sometimes I suspect Kim doubles as a Table Tennis player, the way

he wriggles the racquet like a bat wheras others wield them like axes,

the openings he spots on court etc.

Did you record that match? I missed that!

But anyway, KDM and HTK are the best pair (on form) at the moment. It's not suprising for him to be confident! I'm also pretty certain KDM and RKM will win the MXD as well.
