In this case...no need to look any further from the WC 2 weeks ago..

weeyet, you're spot on..;).and as for baihaki as' question, well, you can always go back to the recent WC sub-forum and there should be another post similar to this which has the same answers(eventhough TH played against CH instead)-nooo difference..:p ;) :D

{[I can sense that Lin Dan must be feeling now : It's also quite unfair. First he got walked off in the HK Open, now he got an effortless effort by Taufik in the 3rd set.][ As from the tv show, Lin dan is no really happy or satisfy he win so easily in third set even he is knowing Taufik is just throwing the points to him. ]} ( It's quote from others' ) I agree , VERY MUCH ,VERY MUCH

If this is TRUE, it will only keep LinDan working hard to beat TH anytime they met on court.

Any videos available for this final online? Maybe youtube.com?
Sounds like Mr TH ain't so entertaining. All of them bestest have attitudes and personality, I watched LD in that Malay ceremoney and LCW's interviews... but those guys always put up a good fight even when they're losing, just for the sake of their fans/audiences. Respect, y'all good players should fight 'till the last point. Otherwise more people will lose interest in the sport, at least in men's. Why pay $100 to watch someone play with no effort? What's the point of attending a tourney when there're no tricks to see?

That's why he is taufik... I'm disappointed with Taufik's poor play in the third set.. he gives up... it ruins my day... but he is just Taufik

I know why Taufik got thrashed :

    1) He was not motivated to play in the final as he had already beat LD b4.

    2) He wants to save his energy for Asian Games, it is more important.

    3) He pitied LD, having humiliated LD 15-3 in 2005 WC he wanted LD to feel good by letting him 21-3.

    4) He was afraid Li YB would be displeased and abuse him.

    5) If LD and China want to win so badly he wanted to allow them to win.

Convincing? It is very like the people want finds near the Equator.

he lose means lose la. he just lose to a player better than him in every aspect thats all..
losing doesnt means everything, it is the lesson you learnt from it and im sure both players have learnt something valuable after their match.
it applies to all of us playing badminton, regardless of a match or for fun.

most importantly, you have to learnt something from the experience.

It's not about him losing, it's about him acting like a total arse just because Lin Dan won't let him win.
He is there to compete, no matter how little he is paid, he is supposed to compete, otherwise why not let someone take his place.
Gade and Chong Wei at least would have played to the end, so Taufiks behaviour is disrespectful to them too.
Even when Lin Dan threw a hissy fit in malaysia after losing to Chong Wei, at least he played to the end and not take anything away from his opponents win.

Lin Dan is simply on top of his game. TH got frustrated when in the second game, he slowly lost his lead and at one time, shouted in disgust of himself.
When LD took a huge lead in the 3rd game, TH simply gave up.

Though I still prefer TH's game (only when's he's totally focused and in shape), it would be interesting to see how both ould play in this year's Asin Games in Doha. Would a more focused and fitter TH face LD in Doha? Let's see what happens.

What if LCW lost to LD.. would u say he's a total arse too? I can sense biasness from 'some' of the MASs here. comments are meant to be fair. Yes, TH played very very badly, hope he learnt his lesson and play better in the upcoming tournaments. Congrats to LD, he played darn well, so no comments. come on commentators, be fair..

May I ask why taufik's losing has to do with his sportsmanship?

what about his comments that has got something to do with the Malaysian fans? And mind you explain what are the biased comments?

what he means is that Taufik's unwillingness to play in the third set is what matters the most... It's not about losing a game, it's about the right fighting spirit and sportmanship to show

Umm... I'm a chinese living in the UK.
And so what if LCW lose to Lin Dan? He always does lose to Lin Dan anway.
It does not change the fact that LCW has better character than Taufik.
Sorry, I'm just not getting your point here.
