Gosen lover too here, R4X100 is great but right now my best Gosen string is R4X Ryubi. Has lesser sound & the spin is not as good, but just as repulsive/powerful while at least doubling the durability makes it a winner for me -it will easily fray but will last a while, while R4X100 will just snap at any given moment, even at a meek 22x24 lbs stringing tension. G-Tone 5 is great too, perhaps better overall than R4X Ryubi, but i dislike its harder feeling, not too friendly with this aging elbow of mine. And i have influenced some of my playing mates in the club to also use Gosen strings, did string 5 rackets a few days ago, will give them the burn tonight & tomorrow morning at practice. Spoiler: Gosen Strings
Tried the Gosens and after I chewed thru the sets in a few weeks, I decided to drop it. tension retention was pretty bad with every Gosen I tried, if it lasted as long to notice.
Dang it! Just 10 days after I ordered the GT5 reel from Stringer's World, now they have 20% discount on Gosen strings until Oct 26! Anyways may order another another reel. FYI use gosen20 as the discount code.
I used RX 110 for 6 months and it definitely has good sound. but it did not last long above 30lbs of tension. the even package says recommended tension as 24lbg if I am not mistaking.
Tried it at 31lbs and chewed thru the sets in few weeks. Coating is pretty fragile. Means, adjust your clamps well and pull knots just by hand or very carefully with tools. First days are great, but it loose it's feel quick. An ONS instead of a love.

24 packet box of R4X 110 arrived at the ever so nice Gosen distributer. Safe to say I’ll take a major chunk of this. Wonder when it’ll snap at. I’ll probably play safe at 29x31 first time. Gonna go get 80 on the racket from my stringer since I have a packet lying around already. On that note, found a “review” of my stringer which I found funny since it was his first time with him. I’ll leave that here too.
I actually did love it . It was around October or something when fellow BC'er Shreyas asked me to order a packet with my TK9900. It was given to him and I found it nice but it was neither string by my stringer nor at my tensions and not much available stock at e78 prohibited me from trying it with the thought that what would happen if I loved it and never found it again. Now fast forward to recently when @Okaharu posted the gosen catalogue. I saw it there and was quite excited so I placed an order at the distributer which has now arrived .
Good luck hopefully you'll fair better than I did with it. Mine had all but broken within a day or two at much less crazy tensions.
They didn‘t snap very soon for me, but the fraying is even worse than Aerosonic. After three or four days the strings look like crap. Very fragile outer coating.
