    Taufik beat Bao 15-4 15-6.
    CH beat Roslin 15-9 15-10.

    Others don't know yet, but I think MS should be finished by now.

    Just had a reply from Web Team in INA. They said that they are having some problems updating the web server at the moment but they will try their best. Something to do with avalilable bandwidth.

    According to Malaysian TV sports news, Hafiz has lost to Ronald in rubber sets.
    Lee TS is thru to play Taufik tomorrow.
    Lee CW lost to Wu YY.

    So, Lee TS will be Malaysia's sole flag-bearer tomorrow for MS.

    Hafiz drop in form is really worrying. Soon he will have to start going through qualifying rounds.

    Lee TS will face Taufik tomorrow, and that does not look good considering Taufik's form at the moment.

    All in all, another normal day for Malaysian players.

    Lee TS beat Taufik in their last 2 encounters. However, those victories were recorded in Basel (2001 Swiss Open) and Guangzhou (2002 TC), not Indonesia!:mad:

    Lee TS vs Taufik is 2-2 head to head.

    It is really surprise that Lin Dan lost to Shon Mo today because Lin Dan lead 5:0 head to head before the match.

    Sony lost to Lee HI 4-15, 15-17:)

    Biggest disappointment is still Hafiz. Good news for doubles though. Choong/Lee and Chan/Chew both made it convincingly.

    Quarter-finals match-up

    Chen Hong vs Ronald Susilo

    - Susilo should score more points this time in his birth country. However, it's still a mountain too high to climb.
    -> Chen Hong to advance!:)

    Lee HI vs Ng Wei

    - Lee did very well to crush the hearts of local fans. No one gave him a damn to reach the last 8, but now he has a very high probability to reach the semis.
    -> Lee HI, no doubts!

    Shon SM vs Wu YY

    - Shon is another giant-killer, ousting Lin Dan. Has a fair chance to beat Lin's junior.
    -> I'll go for Lin!

    Taufik Hidayat vs Lee TS

    - Lee won the last 2 encounters outside Indonesia. But the question is "will he able to tame Taufik again in Indonesia?"
    -> On the safer side, I'll put my money on Taufik!

    No surprise for Hafiz at all. He has never beat Susilo before. Their head to head is 0:3 in which Susilo dominates. And also look at his performance, except won a 4 star, Hafiz almost always failed in the early rounds. He also lost in the friendlies. This INA open is probably his 2nd best. So cheer up.

    It is kind of unexpected that Lee HI and especially Shon Mo advanced. Sony has not met Lee b4. So it should be 50-50 while Lin Dan has a 5:0 head to head.

    Chinese seemed invincible until this ina open. It is really hard play there maybe. But Korean are doing very good. Lee and Shon seem to be real fighters who can fight under any circumstances. No one imagine that Lee will meet Shon in the final, but it could happen theoretically

    For all Korean final to happen, Taufik has to lose in q-finals or semis.
    If that happens, what will the environmental situation in Batam like?:( :confused:

    You are underestimating the Koreans!
    No doubt that the Korean referees and linesmen are "total-corrupts", the players (Lee HI and Shon SM) are actually world class in terms of skills.
    I would rate them as world top 15 materials.

    However, I agree with your last statement that all-Korean finals is almost impossible in Indonesian Open!

    Hmm....don't know about Koreans, but I think they are pretty good.

    On another issue, I think if Lee TS manage to somehow beat Taufik tomorrow, there is a fair chance that he can go all the way. What do you guys think?
