    My prediction for INA squad after simulation:MS1. Tommy2. Simon3. Ihsan (for regeneration)4. Sony or Hayom (actually i prefer Sony, but is Sony fully recovered?)5. Hendra6. Ahsan7. Angga8. Rian9. Berry10. RickyUber:1. Lindaweny2. Bellaetrix3. Aprilia4. Firdasari5. Greysia6. Nitya7. Suci8. Tiara9. Anggia10. DellaPia/Rizki won against Suci/Tiara in simulation, but Pia/Rizki have poor H2H against TOP 10 players...Anggia/Della show improvement (beating Greysia/Nitya in simulation)

In a matchup versus opponent, if Simon is MS2, Sony and/or Hayom can't be MS3 since Simon's ranking is the lowest among Sony, Hayom and Tommy.

Versus China, i think the best chance is for INA to pick up a point in MS and 2 in MD. Whoever is matched vs. DPY/WZM/THW/WS is key. Lin Dan and Chen Long definitely will win in MS3 and MS1.

The dilemma INA has now is where to put Simon just like CHN's decision on Lin Dan. Both players' ranking is far below their teammates except for very junior player.

if China and Indonesia both top their group they can only meet in the final.
i wouldn't be too surprise if China field the old boys, FHY/CY as MD2, with tons of experience to spare.

FHF/CY? Angga/Rian or Hendra/Rian or Ahsan/Angga should take care of the pair just fine.

Kido/Fernaldi can beat FHF/CY no doubt.

Hendra/Rian that wouldn't happen as no way INA can drop HS/MA as MD1

as for the other pairs, not sure if any of them played for the TC before?
as i said, experience is the key.

Rian/Angga defeated FHF/CY in the last Sudirman Cup semifinal.

INA Thomas team should not too focus on CHN team, JPN-DEN-KOR are also tough opponents. In last decade, INA Thomas team had been eliminated by DEN (2004 semifinal), KOR (2008 semifinal), and JPN (2012 quarterfinal).

LHI is already retired. Can he play as MS3? Japan is a much tougher opponent with 1 formidable MD pair (Hiroyuki Endo / Kenichi Hayakawa), and 3 MS (Kento, Kenichi and Sasaki).

However, Kenichi and Sasaki have never won in H2H versus Sony and/or Simon. Kento Momota is the dark horse, another beast.

OK, Indonesia team. Whoever are playing, hopefully they are at their best. I believe the team selection knows better than the rest of us.
