Nitya Krishinda/Lita Nurlita give a reasonable fight to the top-seed Wei Yili/Zhang Yawen as they lost the first set 17-21.

Meanwhile, Nguyen Tien-Minh shocks Bao Chunlai by taking the first set 21-17 also.

Nguyen will be a force to reckon with in future. And, I think LYB will be keeping a close eye on his progress. He is indeed a threat to CHN players.

Bao is just warming up, he needs more court time to work on imperfections in some areas of his game.

Bao Chunlai takes the lead at the interval of the second set, 11-7. Can Nguyen Tien-Minh go all the way today?

i really like nguyen. he's so determine in playing. saw him in the all england in march, while he was fighting with full spirit and jus being so close in beating taufik. but lack of experience saw taufik chase back and won the third set. he 's a really good player. good luck to him.

Nguyen is going from strength to strength after each tournament, from a nobody a year ago to a force feared by all the established players now.

It's gonna be a battle to the end in the XD match between Rijal/Grace and Flandy/Vita. Rijal/Grace are ahead 11-10 at the interval of the rubber-set.
