Jo Novita/Greysia Polii are through to the QF after a straight-set victory over Rani Mundiasti/Endang Nursugianti. They should face the top-seed Wei Yili/Zhang Yawen tomorrow.

In the MS, Kenichi Tago and Ronald Susilo progress to the QF after victories over Ng Wei and Alamsyah Yunus respectively.

In the XD, Zheng Bo/Gao Ling beat Devin Lahardi/Lita Nurlita quite easily and will face the Djarum pair Fran Kurniawan/Shendy Puspa Irawati in the QF. Two other pairs, Thomas Laybourn/Kamilla Rytter-Juhl, Tadashi Ohtsuka/Satoko Suetsuna, and Yoo Yeon Seong/Kim Min Jung also won their matches. The Korean pair is likely to meet the top-seed Nova Widianto/Lilyana Natsir, the Japanese pair should face Flandy Limpele/Vita Marissa, and the Danish pair should meet the seventh-seeded Robert Blair/Imogen Bankier.
