Kim Sa Rang has a double mission tomorrow. He is involved in both the MD and XD.

    MS QF
    Simon Santoso
[1] vs Alamsyah Yunus [8] - Alam fulfills his seeding and Simon should take this one.

    Dionysius Hayom Rumbaka
[4] vs Mohd Arif Abdul Latif [11] - if Hayom can beat Arif, INA is guaranteed a spot in the MS Final.

Gao Huan vs Tommy Sugiarto [3] - a tricky match for the not in-form Tommy. I hope he can beat the CHN player.

Sony Dwi Kuncoro [5] vs Sho Sasaki [2] - Sony has a chance but Sho has the slight edge.

    WS QF
    Adriyanti Firdasari
[7] is the highest seed left in the top-half and she alongside Renna Suwarno should advance to the SF.

Hera Desi [6] vs Lindaweni Fanetri - despite Hera being seeded higher, I think Linda can beat her and challenge Han Li [2] for a Final spot.

    MD QF
    Angga Pratama/Rian Agung Saputro
[3], Hendra A. Gunawan/Yonathan Suryatama Dasuki, and Praveen Jordan/Didit Juang Indrianto should progress to the SF.

Kim Ki Jung/Kim Sa Rang [3] vs Markus Fernaldi Gideon/Agripinna Prima Rahmanto Putra [8] - Markus/Agri fulfill their seeding but it will be hard for them to beat Kim/Kim.

    WD QF
    Nitya Krishinda Maheswari/Anneke Feinya Agustine
[3] should progress to the SF.

    Misaki Matsutomo/Ayaka Takahashi
[1] vs Suci Rizki Andini/Della Destiara Haris [8] - it will also be tough for the INA pair to topple the top-seed.

Chen Qingchen/Huang Dongping vs Shella Devi Aulia/Anggia Shitta Awanda - a preview of what to expect in the upcoming WJC. The CHN pair to advance and face their compatriot for a place in the Final.

    XD QF
    The top-seed Tontowi Ahmad/Liliyana Natsir
should advance. The other two matches are interesting. I am hoping for Alfian Eko Prasetya/Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja to at least steal one set yet again and for Riky Widianto/Richi Dili Puspita [7] to sneak an upset over their seniors. Nevertheless, Markis Kido/Pia Zebadiah Bernadeth and Mohd Rijal/Debby Susanto [2] should also progress.

INA shuttlers must capitalize this home GP Gold tournament to produce good result here and upgrade their low WR. The next 2 SSP & 2 SS (Oct & Nov) would be tough chance where big guns are expected will be back in action.

With the amount of INA flags on the board (75% to be precise), it feels like I'm following the China Masters all over again, haha. :D

Pia / Rizky make it to SF..judging by what i watched during PON, Pia got her skill upgraded IMO, her smashes are a lot harder than when she was in Pletanas last year..

Simon is in danger now, trailing 13-20 on the second set, while losing 17-21 on the 1st set against 6th seed Alamsyah Yunus

"Hot" legs Firda (the oldest WS in qf, I think) on her way to victory over "cold" killer Riodingin(probably the youngest WS in qf)

It's like deja vu :D Will INA shuttlers create clean sweep here? The biggest chance should be XD.

Pia proves that she deserves to be in Sudirman Cup next year. She can beat INA no 2 WD pair and probably can beat all other INA XD pair except Towi/Butet.

Looks like there will be only 1 INA WD pair left in semifinal unless Suci/Della can upset no 1 seed

Yup, only Pia/Rizki through to last four and will take on top-seed Misaki/Ayaka tomorrow.

Perhaps because she's become more a smasher role in her WD career. During her XD days in Pelatnas, Fran did most of the smash.... CMIIW.

It has been good and fair in these last two tournaments so far where the "Country of Walkovers" are not so well represented.

yup, that was what i think as well..on the other side, being a pro player is quite different from a Pelatnas player..once they performed bad as a pro player, the sponsors will have another consideration to support them, but if they perform bad as Pelatnas players, they still got more n more n more chances..

Yunus beat Santoso !? Overall, the INA youngsters, esp here in this tournament, are showing promise. I think it won't be long before we see a couple of them, girls and boys, rising to challenge the best in the world. A good sign for INA badminton.

I think the outcome of Sho Sasaki-Sony DK match should determine the eventual winner.
