Then why LYB didn't send Lin Dan to INA to defend his ranking
Also, Chen Hong, Chen Jin can participate more tournaments to improve their ranking.

Overall, I think all Chinese players, plus Taufik are under-ranked. They don't have a plan for competing on ranking, while Malaysia and Denmark over-ranked, they always keep two eyes on ranking.

LCW won't be making history because Wong Choong Hann, Roslin Hashim and Rashid Sidek had all been the world no.1 player before.

Not really. WCH was the world no.1 in 2002 (even its only for a week :D ) and I think Lee Hyun Il was the last person who held the top ranking position before Lin Dan took over (correct me if im wrong)

i think the reason why china doesnt really care about the top ranking is because they had enough of it... i think now the player himself will only care bout bringing glory to home and family... n china is making sure that they will still be appearing on badminton courts n make the country sounds enuff internationally
